  1. We have 4 away games against teams who either drew or won at SMS, with us scoring big fat zero. We owe them all big time! Add in 2 home games where we also scored nil on the away fixtures. But take each game as it comes.....
  2. You had to have been at that Blackburn game to understand why JB got such vitriol - nothing ever like it since, except IB!!
  3. Exactly 33,000 less than last year - my god, we are such a big club, with all due respect we cannot be in this next year - also note only leeds and Norwich had bigger crowds than us yesterday.
  4. Just seen the goals on SSN Rickie was involved /made ALL 3! Got no help from a ****e ref either.
  5. A good start with the Posh goalie being an April Fool!
  6. This does not make sense IMO; Why pay for him now and effectively save PAFC (who would then no doubt do a Walsall on us on May2nd in polite return;) when we could get him in the close season if he really wants to come here? doesnt make business sense unless he really is that good, in which case he will get snapped up in 3 years time anyway!
  7. Well, here we are, today the start of a huge month and tomorrow the start of a big week. Let us hope we are here on Sunday May 1st, a notable day for all of us, basking in the glow of a run of wins, sat in 2nd place, with promotion still in our own hands, looking forward to the last two games and a celebration at SMS! Just want to get on with it and get the job done, time going too slow!
  8. That is just so good - LE GOD! And he could tackle in afew...always hit the corner of the net, incredible accuracy! And hats off to Ian Dowie involved in the build up to many of the goals.
  9. Annoying that teams like Rochdale and Brentford are still in with a sniff of the play offs, we need some mid table end of season not bothered ones, thinking of the beach - Hartlepool perhaps?
  10. We went last year and stood in the front row centre, so saw the whole game through the net - had little idea of what was going on unless the ball was up this end in the box! It truly is terrible, the only thing in its favour this year is that they are bound to lose one at home at some point, so why not us, like at Norwich last season?
  11. All together Adkins, Adam and Alex!
  12. Including, starting next Saturday, 5 games in 15 days. Then a break, then 3 in a week. Let us hope the team are not April Fools and their performances are Above Average. This month will define our season and and probably next as well, hugely significant for the Club and All of us As Ardent Aficionados! No time for Animosity, All for One and One for All!
  13. Jose Fonte baby, Jose Fonte oh oh!!
  14. As Champions! How? Easy, Plymouth go pop, we beat Brighton, simples!!
  15. Good straight bowling by SL, but we cant seem to hit the odd full ball past the infield for a boundary!

    Tonights games.

Its just so annoying/frustrating that by the time we play MKD Hudders and Posh could well be 5 and 6 points clear respectively, forever playing catch up it seems! Having said that I am convinced Plymouth away will see us promoted, April will be Awesome!!
  17. Liked that as I couldnt see the goal as I was over on the far side!
  18. Sent another one out on loan to Lincoln - bizarre situation, really is, just unfathomable!
  19. Unusual for us in that we did not create any clear cut chances form open play, with the exception of the disallowed effort - but then neither did they, Kelvin had no saves to make all night! At least we are creating from set peices now, when was the last time we scored in successive games from corners! Guly should have come on before DNG, he made things happen. Chambo had an indifferent gme I thought, not been so hot the last few matches, hitting crosses out, not beating his man (their left back was quick) mind you the rugby tackle on him in H1 was a disgrace yet again D'Urso tries to be MOTM! From my ground level seat the first 20 minutes was like pin ball, my mate said pitch was very bobbly. I thought Chaplow did OK, and felt aggrieved for Rickie whom Dailly fouled non stop, got zilch. When LB went off , RL dropped back a bit and saw more of the ball. ironically, I think our support and noise helps the opposition as well, cretes some atmosphere!
  20. So was he sick; concussed; groin injury; but OK at Fleet? Some real info would be welcome - we seroiusly need him for the last 10!!
  21. Liked the bit when Ricky looked at him, turned round and passed 30 yards to Chambo though!

    33 Years

I went to all the away games that season, except for Luton and Orient in the last week as I was on a field trip from Uni in North Wales. I had to ring up from a red call box to find out the Orient score, then ran back in the pouring rain to the Pub to celebrate, happy days!!
  23. Got my 5 at 9.15 am surprised not more people in the Q. More Plymouth tickets arriving in the next few days as well.
  24. My point really was that we got 18K for Yeovil, 20k+ yesterday, we should now be getting 25K+ for MKD and Charlton. I know most posters on here already go to most home games, but we all know several irregulars we can try and enthuse to attend especially the two evening and Bank Holiday games, like the guys who play football saturdays or have to work. As a S/T holder, it wouldnt bother me if the Club did a money saving ticket package deal to boost the crowd.
  25. Calling all Saints fans - we have just 5 home games left and we need to fill the stadium with suppport! OK, not many glamourous visiting teams, but come to get behind your team, so important in the final run in! No excuses of Barca v Arsenal or Sky as distractions. Would be good to see the Club do a package deal as well, say buy 3 or 4 get one free. No doubt the last home game will be nearly full up regardless. And how about selling the Northam block behind the goal now, cant see many away fans turning up to take additional blocks. keep the faith, Come On You Reds!!!
