Wellbeck has bags of potential... But think he's a classic scenario of being in too big a club too early... Unless you are a Rooney.. Often young strikers need to get a run of games to build some confidence, and in the same position.. Look at Rodriguez... Looks a different player than earlier in the season...when he was playing out wide/in and out the side... If he gets the games, he'll only get better...etc... Yes..I get frustrated when players like Wellbeck get picked for England ahead of Ricky etc, but for me, it's currently only making him worse...I'd quite like Luke Shaw, Jay R and Clyne kept out of the England limelight...until they're a bit more the finished article and can handle it better....

Honestly... Thought our supporters were a bit quiet and a subdued yesterday..if we're going to cuticles te players for having no fight no passion... We have to look at ourselves... Yes I was in the quiet end... But still....

Agree - that some of the comments on here have been out of order... we like to claim were a 'family' club etc ... some of the outrage today has been about showing a lack of decency... and there has been quite a few comments that aren't very decent... On the whole though.. the comments haven't been too bad.. and just reflect a frustration in the English game..i.e. we get people from all over Europe admiring it for it's quality, the speed of the game, and then those people come over take control and bring in players/coaches form the other leagues in Europe which seems a bit odd... and is frustrating for the longevity of the 'English' game... that said... I suspect if Adkins had been replaced by Guardiola or Mourinho, I suspect there would have been a few less Xenophobic comments made...

OK Cortese might be mad... but looking at some of the suggestions on here.. I'm glad you lot aren't chairmen... there is no way Hoddle is coming back into Management... there is no way Redknapp would come back to Southampton and work for an interfering chairman after what happened here and at Spurs... and no way that Cortese would employ him if the rumours are true... (plus he'd be absolutely mullered if it wasn't a miraculous turnaround). Personally... I'd stick with Adkins.. but go and get some him some help.. i.e. some decent defenders... the best defensive coach money can buy.. and work on building some confidence.. because we look very frail... chopping and changing gives you some potential for short term confidence improvement... but long term it's suicide.. Keep the faith... but give the guy some support...(oh and let him play 4/4/2 for a bit while we build some confidence)

Confidence in football is everything...who knows what Kelvin and Gazza are really feeling behind the scenes.. Yes the first four games were tough...but it's very easy to get used to picking the all out of the net... It might be that NA feels that KD could do with a game off... On the other hand, you could blow gazza's confidence for the future... Think we have to trust the guys behind the scenes, to make a judgement call...

Just to add my complaints to everyone else. I was originally an ergonomist designing UX systems for mission critical systems and then went over into ecommerce systems etc. yes Sapientnitro are a pretty reasonable agency... But something is seriously wrong with the new OS and it's UX. ...and please don't let them hide behind the "it's new, you'll just get used to it". It's poorly put together, loads slowly, has poor colour contrast...there's no use story...(too many options).. And looks like it's been designed by someone who likes graphics, but doesn't care about users...I.e. they've tried too hard to make it look groovy and forgotten about the users... Like some others have said, probably very likely that this is a combination of the generic template and content management system from someone like Sapient and content from internal people... (I.e. looks like it's slow because it loads all the background photos for all the news stories when you load the page at the start)... But long and short... It's unusable on tablets devices, and slow/poor on laptops/desktop on both safari/ Internet explorer...

...went in the saints store today... In my opinion the home shirt looks ok... The away shirt looks very good (ignoring the dodgy white background to the aap3).... But.....it didn't feel like a Saints store... Can't explain it... But without some silly stripes or black shorts... Just didn't feel saints... Yes it's just a shirt and it should be trivial...Stilldisappointed despite the OS on the commas offensive...

Yes some people like the kit.. But I think overall it's disappointing...especially when they've tried to break away from the red and white stripes, only to come up with something that is very boring and similar to other clubs.. If you're going to do something different, then go for something like the Xerox kit, or even an awful kit like the euro kit... But don't just bring out somemone else's kit....
