NASA Announces Televised Chandra News Conference
ericofarabia replied to Saint in Paradise's topic in The Lounge
surely Nigel Adkins Sash Army (NASA) should be focused on this afternoon's game ... not the future of mankind -
Going for the old faithful 3-1 away win a la last season's favourite away score, after it got a welcome iring at Notts county. My youngest daughter is going to the game from Keswick, only her 2nd ever game, she must be easily impressed though ... she enjoyed the Orient game earlier on this season (to be honest it wasn't too bad a game and the atmosphere was great, hope everybody is up for the game tomorrow and not an armchair brigade.

The commentators do seem to be putting more weather info into their match commentary, I'm sure they have read about the magical effects our efforts have on games with weather reports coming in from all over the world at times of need during the match. Similarly Flash watson used to smuggle in the occassional woot into his commentary, but they now seem so last year as do the muffins. Anybody who doesn't come on here on match days will be scratching their heads at all this talk of weather, crafty smokes and god forbid nuns knockers!! You don't know what you are missing out on!!

Is this official that you can pay on the day or just wishful thinking?

Royal Brunei are very popular with backpackers, so at a guess they are cheapish!!! They are dry but don't seem to have a problem if you open a screw top bottle of wine from your duty free allowance.

Exactly .... it's all about the soldiers that have served in Wars, not about the politicians who happen to be in power at any given time.

Well, don't stand outside in the rain ... come back in. Is wet in anticipation one stage up from the normal Moist ?

I purposely put it as "local derbys" rather plain factual Local Derbys. To Plymouth Fans, Swindon is one of their nearest clubs to visit (in fact they probably have to go thru or past Swindon to get to 90% of their away trips), so I'm sure there must be some sort of west country rivalry between them. Of course Swindon were the team having to travel, but you'd have thought that a match featuring 2 of the "bigger"(LOL) teams from L1 with the west country interest, could muster up a few more fans between them!!.

1st May 76 till 3rd May 76. 1st ..... FA Cup Final win and fantastic scenes all along the moterway on the drive back home. Only downside, being pre video recoreder/innernet times leaving pub early to watch match of the day!!! 2nd .... Having a superb vantage point halfway up a tree in front of The Painted Wagon to see the Civic reception in town. 3rd ..... Mick Channon's Testimonial, for me the greatest ever memory of The Dell .... the place was rocking. (Sadly I missed the last game V arsenal so can't compare the two). 3 days of sheer magic that will live with for ever.

1/ Missing out on The ZDS Cup by 48 hours because i couldn't change my leave request and get back in time. 2/ Missing out on 2003 Cup final ... couldn't get leave (or probably a ticket either tbh!!) 3/ Having to watch JPT from a bar in france. This time I had leave booked, but when I booked the skiing hols back in Sept The JPT Final Date wasn't high on my agenda!! 4/ Not having 19C's ability to realise that Lawrie Mac and MLT are actually a pair of blood sucking leeches, rather than 2 of the top 5 all time ever most important Saints EVER. 5/ Subscribing to Saints Player. (or should that be HAVING to subscribe to saints Player as it is the ONLY option available to us expats. )

Don't think my son and his mates will be too impressed if it stays like this when he arrives Thurs night!! The new airport proved what a great location it is ... 300m in sandstorms .... just as well they don't have any flights there!!

For us a pretty poor showing. Not helped by a relatively small following for a game that some on here were dubbing Shrewsbury's Cup Final. Maybe they objected to paying so little cash for admission or maybe they found an away draw to a L1 team on the fringes of the playoffs an offer they could refuse!!! BUT, have a look at the rest of the Round 1 crowds and we are the only side to crack the 10000 barrier and were over 3000 more than the next biggest gates. "Local Derbies" at Gillingham v Dover (next highest just under 7500) and Plymouth v Swindon suprisingly less than half our gate, puts it all into perspective how popular this stage of the cup really is I guess. Those other massive south coast clubs Brighton and Bomo could barely beat our crowd with their combined total.

Great tactical positioning by the cameraman/mobilephone man !!! You could almost smell the Anchovies .... and a few great dummies making you think she was about to reveal wether the carpet matched the curtains. -

AND THEN ..... when they solved the trouble with the double transmission ... they left us with only the Bomo match

Thats about as Racy as we can get without being censored
-
Gay Meadow would have been more appealing to many on here!!
-
Plan B doesn't seem to be working at all.

To think i changed my prediction league from 1-0 to 4-0 .... I should have known it would be dire and a 1-0 win is about the best we could hope for. Guly gives away then screws up again moments later. Certainly sounds like he should have gone off instead ooff instead of \chambo

It would certainly have been more if those relying on saints Player knew what was going to happen!!
