Had a great day out at SMS despite the score, but am now in Bolton territory (Lancashire) but have got DM blaring out loud and clear!!

Come on you Saints. Martin and Jose will have their hands full coping with Kevin Davies. Don't think that is a 2nd XI Bolton have put out, plenty of experience but keeper making his debut, lets hope Lambo can put him under pressure.

I was surprised he didn't drift over to the left more often so as to be able to get to the bye line. This is where the most dangerous crosses come from and with Lambert up front, crosses from there rather than the halfway line would lead to goals or knock downs from Rickie fo sure. Puncheons first touch was pretty poor, was diappointed with him on saturday to be honest, but he defo has the ability to be an outstanding player this season.

Of course he should play his stongest line up. Some need matches to get up to match fitness and the rest had the previous weekend off FFS.

Do this in an area of high crime rate which has say a high ethnic majority and it would most definitely be seen as racial discrimination and lead to possible rioting!! LOL now I'm stereotyping!! I'm a pretty passive person with nothing to hide from the authorities, and luckily was back in row BB, but had I been nearer the front I'd certainly have felt the need to go and ask why I and my kids were being filmed, and also having my view blocked and concentration on the match disturbed by some goon pointing a video camera at me. The only good side were some of the chants - a nice change to have some spontaneous humour!! I remember a few years ago they did it to try and force people to sit down, so people started to wear brown paper bags with eyes cut out. Admittedly it was when Redkrap was around and there was a plentiful supply of brown paper bags, but maybe we should all take one along to the next game!!

I think it is my fault I am normally back in the Uk for the start of the season and barely ever see a win - I probably won't be able to see another game whilst I'm still in England, but expect a marked improvement after Sept 13th when I leave these shores for sunnier climes!! I was at the Coventry match when we last won though!!

I'll be there repping the Dubai Massive!!! Managed to get 3 seats together in block 38 without too much pron y'day. There was a steady trickle of people buying tickets. Anything over 25000 at this time of year against such glamorous opposition is pretty good in my mind. Looking for a pretty emotional start to proceedings followed by a 4-0 drubbing to send us home happy.

Its such a must win game that I have flown over just to be there for it on Saturday. Super duper fan me. LOL at this fred.

This is a pretty unique situation where by one mans actions, in saving our club from extinction, has had an incredible impact on tens, even hundreds of thousands of peoples lives. We as a club were days away from closing down, now a year on we are in a vastly improved situation and looking forwards rather than backwards. Ultimately this is down to one man, and as said above, I'm not one for the mass hysteria emotion type thing, but here we have a person who has in one short year had as marked a contribution in some ways as Ted, Lawrie or Matt has. Without him we could well be without a club, fullstop. I'm still bewildered at my feelings of loss at a man who has only been known to exist to me for a year, I've never met, never seen in person and not even seen in an interview. I've only seen still images, or footage from games at SMS and of course Wembley. Yet somehow I'm feeling as sad as when I heard about the passing of Bobby Stokes, Ossie, Alan Ball and Ted Bates. Over reaction maybe ..... but real all the same.

To make it less formal ... " Stand up if you love Markus " is a definite winner ..... simple ... you can join in at any stage, and , well, just about sums up how about every single one of us feels about the man. We loved him for saving us, we loved his unassuming nature and more than anything else we loved the fact that he loved our club and wanted to return it to its rightful place. And finally ... watching him take photos of the team collecting the cup at Wembley .... he was like a proud grandfather taking pictures of his grandchildren at a school sports day. That wasn't pounds shillings and pence registering in his head ... that was pride at something that was a part of his legacy. For that I will gladly stand up and sing till I have no voice left!! Orient at home is going to be a very emotional return for me indeed.

Okay we've seen the post match reports/interviews but nobody has remarked on the burning issue .... how was the catering and service? Did the pies run out (or was there anything running out of the pies ) are people still queueing up for their halftime beer, and did they run out of Ovaltine and Sanatogen in the away supporters section.
