  1. Don't forget to add Connolly to that list. Fingers crossed that he stays injury free, as he is most certainly a class above most players in this league f'sure.
  2. Watch the Monty Python link a few posts above!! To be honest though I think we have milked the list dry!!
  3. Have they mentioned any specific dates yet? I was hoping to maybe jump on a FlyBe flight from Manc in early Sept for a couple of days.
  4. If we had signed up Gerd Muller .... first greeting of the day on seeing him may have been "Yo"!!! Gerd"
  5. I wonder if any of the tea ladies is called Marge ?
  6. LOL .... brilliant responses Not Saints related but well worth the viewing ....
  7. We've had a fair few keepers over the years who could have been nicknamed "butter fingers" and of course in MLT we had the creme de la creme. Also many of our back four line ups have been compared to Swiss cheese due to the amount of holes in it, but that would be milking it a bit. The only one I can think of that can I can think of that can urn the right to be included is Ollie Lancashire (as in cheese).
  8. After my immensley successful "is Frazer the 1st player with a z in his name" fred, Installment 2 (lol) of this hopefully continuing series is ..... "is Butterfield the 1st Saints player to have a dairy product in his name"
  9. LOL ... quick someone start another fred along the same lines, who knows what else they've got up their sleeve
  10. I think this is just the type of fred the club have been waiting for!! Remember this one that started a while ago, http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?23663-Concerned Within hours Connolly was confirmed as staying and Fazer Richardson was wheeled out Don't expect such a quick response this time with the team and NC being away in Switzerland, but Im sure (well at least hoping) that there are several lines of inquiries that will come to fruition soon, when they all get back home.
  11. HA HA .. very good. I just can't get past thinking of the hen pecked character on Headcases.
  12. For anybody who missed these last night ..........here's how to have a perfect start to the morning ... TOAST.
  13. Only in The Fa Cup .. we'll be passing like ships in the night at the end of this season (if you are still in existence till then ... which I hope you are in some shape or form ... just a mere shadow of the last few years.) The cleansing won't be nice, and hopefully the guilty will be be punished. Would love to see would clauses Spurs have put in to RedKrooks contract!!
  14. Keep up, he's gone and is now manager of WHU FFS.
  15. PS please please please don't use the reply with quote option on this fred. Bandwidth and damage to the ozone will occur!! The tie on matey in pic #1 probably wasn't included in the kit of the day either. Banner OUT.
  16. Feck me ... a life sized autographed pic of of Peter Shilton in a Forest shirt. Actually I say autographed, it looks more like arabic script. Probably says does my bomb look big in this shirt* * Cross reference to fred on Lounge !!! Good spot though Holmes.
  17. Certainly no need for a "Hurry Hurry"selling like hot cakes, get yours before it's too late" rallying call.
  18. I think you may be in the minority there. I personally know of several families that have opted for less or even zero renewals and will now cherry pick their games. And no matter what your view is on Stu's opinions, you cannot argue with the fact that once someboby has stopped being a ST holder :- a/ they will go to a lot less games per season, and b/ once they've found they can survive without a footie fix every other weekend, they will not be banging down the doors next year to renew either. Obviously IF we reach the Big Time of The Prem again, it may become a viable option again, as the chances of getting a ticket when it suits is far less likely to happen. Maybe The Club are looking much further afield and will keep renewals at a realistic rate (with or without installments!!) but "newbys'will be hit. Financially good business for The Club IF we do well. People will turn up to see a winning team, and a sniff of promotion will add thousands each week. Who knows a Goodwill half season ticket (perfect Xmas gift) might yet appear.
  19. Should we be worried that you were staring at his groin region to know this fact
  20. Is he wearing fake boobs as well ...could be our very own Gazza
  21. Skatesmuffs parachute payments .... Ummm is that toast or burning parachute I smell ?
  22. Christ on a bike .... my quoting myself about 2 posts later (see a few posts above here!!) makes your 28 days look like a Tantric Poster God

There is a meeting this Monday coming, in London, between the administrators (Andronikou etc) and people connected with the Rob Lloyd interest, to discuss what can be done. HMRC will, of course, be under consultation as well. Things are moving along very quickly and, hopefully, this can focus a few minds. So, don't think everything is bad news. As I said before, in some ways the HMRC appeal could prove to be a good thing and, as I was just discussing with somebody, we could be looking back on this in the future and thinking the HMRC could have done us a huge favour As usual, we shall see. Nothing can be guaranteed but that's a bit of the situation for you. .... or possibly PFCs Benthelegend
  24. Okay .... here is another version ... come lads I'm sure someone out there in The Saints Web Land can do one as well http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4FtpVvJ0Cnw&feature=related
