It is difficult to get excited about this competition this year when you are top of the league and promotion is an opportunity. I am embarassed to report I got my first 10 points in the prediction league this season with this result. I will get my coat as I leave. Well done to the real supporters who made the trip.

I do not like writing players off but he needs games and is not going to get them with us and so needs to be loaned out.

His career ended when he got injured playing for us which was a shame but he had his career with Reading so who cares where his loyalties are. From previous posts I think he uses our facilities to keep fit for whatever he does next I think his contract lapsed - so what?

Guly was all over the place against Reading and his passing was not good enough for the Parks but he did 'make' the goal.

We were truly awful and deserved nothing from the game but at the end had enough chances to win it easily. We could not do anything right today. Reading decided to stop us playing and then found all they had to do was wait for us to give them the ball - which we did.

I think you have missed the point. Yes we are top and I am ecstatically happy and cannot really believe it but we have just lost to a side with 8 first teamers missing to a lone striker with one ball out of the parks league and the other a gift. It does not matter if you are top or bottom if you concede soft goals and miss headers from 6 yards you will not win. Every performance like this offsets one other excellent performance. And i got nil points on the prediction league for the second week running.

Not so 8 players out according to their web site. You cannot put a gloss on a poor performance. If you take the last two games we have missed 5 headers from the edge of the 6 yard box. How can you concede 2 goals to a lone striker one from a goalkeepers clearance. While accepting your point about not expecting auto promotion soft goals and missed comfortable chances wont put you in the top 6 either.

I could only listen on the radio but 2 soft goals and misses from 6 yards mean you will not win the championship. Very disappointed against Cardiff reserves

There are some t**ts posting on here. I hope that there a huge number of 'plants' on this forum so that they can read every post that advises how to run a football club and then tell NC how it should be done and also take note of every anti NC post so that he can hopefully send out a hit squad to get rid of them!!! I might be one of them plant that is as well as a t**t for reading the posts in the first place

I posted earlier after hearing our Dave on the radio but I have now seen the highlights on The Football League Show. I am delighted where we are but the goal conceded was awful and the open goal misses even worse. We are never going to win every game but this really is 2 points thrown away.

Were Lallana's missed headers as bad as we were told on the radio. A point is a point but missing free headers 6 yards out does not make champions - very disappointed
