The Wyvern

From their forum thread on welcoming the coaches 🤣 “I was in Southampton visiting extended family. When this started, a couple of them leaned over to me and said '**** me, I wish we had support like that, today is gonna be hard'. Never have I beamed so much for my peeps in a small town in Europe.” Definitely filed in that big folder of things that never happened.

I’d argue it’s luck not judgement that’s got us this far. We’re not playing a clever cagey game deliberately letting them have the ball. We’ve had very little say in this so far.

We’re having no say in how this game is going currently.

That’s my reading of it too.

What is the actual offence here? Trespass onto their land? If the training is viewable from public land, what is the issue?

Ha, their supporters coming across like proper angry little men in that thread. Desperate for us to be kicked out and punished.

Clearly many people find it more enjoyable, for a whole range of reasons it is more fun. Of course winning helps, but its certainly not as black and white as that. Being able to celebrate a goal without VAR checks alone beats everything the Premier League can offer for me. Others don't mind VAR or some might even like it, but there are plenty of us who despise it.

Peretz has been so good for us, got to allow him one mistake.

Could see Derby beating Millwall for example.

Apart from the first 10mins and last 10mins I thought we were good, and looked the most like getting the win. Can see why Ipswich are up there, great quality to bring off the bench and they also seem to have that jammy knack of getting things to just fall right for them. I was disappointed with Szienza - too wasteful too often and goes down looking for a foul too often. If you're going to dive, do it well. And I thought Stewart was poor when he came on as he has been the last few weeks. Not sure what has happened, not 100% fit perhaps, but he hasn't offered much lately. 2nd place was always very unlikely. We've got to fancy our chances for the play offs now, though finishing 5th will be a disappointment.

Very strong finish to the half from us.

No reason we should be much more tired than Ipswich. Both sides played a lot of football lately and we’ve rotated most of our side.

Thought we were loud and Man City even quieter than expected, silent until the last few mins. Only moan would be us singing the same songs over and over, owts and yellows in particular.

Great effort from the lads, no complaints from me. Forgot how frustrating it is to play Manchester City. Having to sit behind the ball while they pass it about creating the correct angles- boring!

Don’t see why the majority of players would be tired or have had a gruelling schedule with the exception of a couple of them. Might not be quite the right line up. Not started with this front three before. Plus we won’t play well in every minute of every game forever more, we’ve been spoilt last couple of months.

Playing golf in the summer. With Le Tiss you know. In Porthcawl.

Just get a yellow scarf surely. Does it even matter that much if you’re wearing yellow?

Completely agree. Could easily have split the ticket windows out a bit more to reflect loyalty throughout the season.

It’s still not in our hands though, Ipswich still need to drop another 3 points plus losing to us I think?

Happened once or twice over the last couple of seasons.

How on earth is that deemed "violent conduct"?

For those worrying about last trains and/or hotel prices in London, think about where you can get to heading back in the right direction for where you live after the game and book a hotel there, then a train back home from there Sunday morning. Just a suggestion.

Could see when he made them start the game three times he wanted to centre of attention.

How's that not a foul on Harwood Bellis?

Excellent from us so far, been far the better team. Edozie a weak link so far, just doesn't make the most of the positions he finds himself in.
