Would of thought that kind of decision will only be made/justified after it becomes mathematically impossible for us not to reach play offs, then what would be gained by making that change ? Do they make the change even if we have secured our place at Wembley ?

I think this public statement should go some way to make certain posters think before they dismiss out of hand and question the motive of other posters, I know its our nature to try and dissect every detail of an ITK post but when a poster, respected by many, suggests all is not what it seems then maybe, just maybe he has information he is unable to divulge but would like to give us a heads up and does not deserve the borderline abuse directed toward them. Clearly NC is ambitious and wants a quick return to the premiership, should we be concerned by that ? in essence no, why would we as fans, however, it may be at the sacrifice of things that some put before our success.

Has had a couple of different owners, used to meet their on a Sunday morning for all the talk of the night before then progressed to Solo's opposite town quay as they came out with an equally gut busting dish, all in the days before we could pronounce cholesterol let alone spell it. Sundays were: 10am breakfast, 12-3 pub...look for a lock in or balloon/steam or any other festival that has a beer tent between 3 & 5, Rugby club at 5-7ish then back to pub then onto social club till closing then a kebab/curry then bed not much before midnight, up at 5 for work. Now, can't do the breakfast, can't do the drinking, can't do the curry and need to be in bed at least 7 hours before due to get up, getting older stinks !!

Based on the example, If this lad falls into this category then so must have I and 60-70% of the pupils at my school and none of us received special attention, only in recent years have I been able to stop myself from smacking someone if they say something about me but still would be unable to stop myself should they say something about my Mum. When at school and it happened I was aware it was punishable by detention, suspension or expulsion, now if it happened I am aware I could be subject to arrest, a warning, fine or incarceration because it is wrong and I know the difference between right and wrong as I assume does this very intelligent lad. If I were allowed a time out every time I got p!ssed off at school I would of only been there for break, dinner & games lessons, imo it is simply excusing bad behaviour and sets a bad example for other kids, much the same as when naughty kids are 'rewarded' if they do not play up in class yet those who always behave are not.

Part of that reality must be the awareness of how much money the chairman has allowed our manager to spend, clearly he will want to see a return and the only return he will be happy with are positive results. Do we know what NC's expectations are ? Are we aware of the stages within the 5 year plan ? Is their an incentive to 'arrive' before those 5 years ? Due to spend and certain results our expectation level has risen somewhat where, unlike the start of the season, most were content with survival, it seems now most want Wembley and play offs. Me ? For me I think cabbies are driving more hours due to the volume of cabbies out there, I would assume they have a minimum amount they like to earn daily, the volume of fares they became used to a few years ago which allowed them to work say a 8-10 hour day can now only be achieved in a 12-15 hour day due to 'competition', I am not a cabbie so simply my opinion.

Or is it because some misinterpret what is meant ? Noone has suggested cabbies have/are drink driving. Noone has suggested taxi drivers should speak brilliant English.

That is another arguement again NC, how many hours should a cabbie work before he puts the welfare of his passengers at risk ? if as some will have you believe, some drivers are out for 15-16 hours then they/we have every right to be worried, driving tired can create the same impairment level as driving while over the drink-drive limit.

You may have misunderstood, btf did not suggest a 'fare' should speak greek. We have many visitors to our fine city so, No, a fare should not be expected to speak English nor would any driver be expected to speak every language of all the potential visitors or indeed residents.
