Given recent history we will either refuse to sell but agree to let him and VVD go next summer with our blessing or we will get an offer can't refuse and we let them go this year without a thank you on the statement after they have left. With Pelle likely to go and two lost already I assume we will put our foot down and refuse anymore to leave but they will be guaranteed to be first out the door next summer. For everyone that did well we can all name some who had no experience of the league and have failed? I just wondered why it's important for Europe but not for the premier league?

I think we see them as a steady source of income? If they get in the champions league and look at elsewhere at the real quality players who would buy our players? Everton may step in the short term depending on their success, maybe West Ham? The big four Only come to us if we have someone of real quality which we are unlikely to get...Spurs maybe? It's got to be a worry for the current strategy? ( I am not trying to be flippant just buying into the dream of our business model! )

We will never know will we? All I am saying is this is the real test. People seem very complacent that this board can pick the right manager and replace leaving players but RK didn't follow the plan did he? So this season we will know if it does or does not work.

N You don't know that the model works? MoPo was not appointed by this board. RK was but didn't do what they wanted and ignored the youth and the black box bringing in players he identified which improved us from a position of collapse. Lots of manager have just turned us down and we have gambled on one who may be the next remi Garde and be gone by Xmas. We will have to wait and see..for me this appointment and the players sales will tell us the truth about the way we are run. In a years time if we have finished top ten I will congratulate the board on a sustainable model for running a club.

Not much reaction to wanyama was there? If he went I think we all thought mane would go to a big club..to sell him to Liverpool just says we are planning to have normal order resumed and finish behind them next year.
