Good riddance to bad rubbish IMO..their fans sing about empty seats everywhere they go yet never fill their own ground. Bad season and they desert their club in droves..they should be going to see the premier league teams whilst they can as they have a decade of Rotherham, MK Dons and Carlisle to look forward to. Empty seats me Lord, empty seats ohhh oh empty seats... Your grounds too big for you and will be forever more! Lol

Probably the worst presenter I have ever heard.

Must be reading this wrong? Surely those who miss the correction e mail and all the press coverage will only get there early by 15 minutes so they are unlikely to miss it?
-
Welcome to the forum. Yes an exciting season but the only two consistent teams are Leicester and Spurs. I hope it continues but I fear the big clubs will regroup next season but you never know. Stay positive about Saints as on here you'll see a lot of unfounded negativity and yeah best not talk Leeds that's a bit of a car crash at present?
-
Less games? -went out of the cups quite early, and no Europe? Players desperate to play? Hasn't Vardy play with numerous knocks? Perhaps they bought players who aren't prone to injury? - what's their records like at previous clubs?
-
In his opinion, it looks like it. I can't see why he just can't continue under his current contract that's what it's for. To me it's not an issue. Managers come and go in days, so does it matter at what point in the contract he is? LVG is at the same point in his contract are Man U fans panicking? Wenger always ran his down, did arsenal fans panic? Lots of them do it but it's only us who seem to be all flustered! If he is going to sign IMO it will be this summer, otherwise he will be doing a year on less money than he could be.
-
What if they can't? Couldn't with Clynne? So sold him... If he won't sign we can't force him!
-
Sorry just what are you suggesting should/will happen next year if RK doesn't sign a new contract?
-
So if we aren't sacking him and he won't sign we are letting him see out his contract and organising a replacement for next summer? Isn't that exactly what I said?
-
You do realise we have had at least three managers in e last six years and from memory the last manager we had to do a stretch of more than three years is probably Chris Nicholl? How many managers really give a fig about long term planning ?
-
imo it would be a mental decision to get rid of a good manager with a year on his contract left..we'd still have to pay him and who else is better? How can other teams manage to have a manager in his last year but not be so paranoid as they have to sack him? Makes no sense to me?
-
So the question is if he is unlikely to sign a new deal, so we need a new manager in less than three months ..as we are terminating his contract, who do we want?
-
Unbearable for who? Maybe the fans but RK has seen out contracts before? We aren't that popular , to make the back page just because our manager has not signed a new contract would be no more than a few times over the season. Even then It would only get a load of press if we had a good season. If we had a good season there will be speculation even if he has already signed a new deal. Can't see it matters ultimately.
-
K So you are saying we will terminate his contract this summer? I don't believe he will sign anything, why should he? He is honouring the contract he has already signed. He also doesn't need a job to be available this summer as he has one for next season already and I do not believe he will break that contract. I believe, as has happened in the past, he will see out his contract and pick his next job next summer. In the mix of jobs then could be Saints depending on next seasons results/investment. Doesn't Pep do the same?
-
There's plenty of others who cost a lot more and delivered the same or less.. Carroll, Benteke, Lovren, Shevchenko, Torres....
-
TBF can you u really see city wanting him? Or United? More likely IMO are Spurs, West Ham etc

Post-Match Reaction: Stoke City 1-2 SAINTS
Saint-Fred replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
The ref has to be a worry considering in the last few games we have seen the contrasting approach they take to Saints and the Scousers. We don't get a nailed on pen Liverpool get a dive to win at Palace. Personally I don't fear Liverpool but do worry the ref will determine the outcome more so than what team we play. -
Bournemouth 2-0 Saints - Post Match Meltdown
Saint-Fred replied to Pamplemousse's topic in The Saints
Didn't take a genius to work that out..they are a team built on a billion pound of investment, who were champs last year and you could have named your own odds against us finishing above them at the start of the season. -

It happens sometimes ....must be worst for Leicester right now...just another game, move on to the next. -

At least lallana missed a penalty -
The bookings were strange too.. It seemed persistently fouling was OK for a number of their players with ours being booked for single offences?

Costa chasing down the ball from throw in due to injury
Saint-Fred replied to um pahars's topic in The Saints
L He's not clever just fortunate to be in a league where the referees are scared to make a decision against the top Sides. If he was playing for Sunderland or Stoke he have been sent off numerous times. -
I'd have him back too, good player. The Issue obviously would be wages, I believe Arsenal pay even squad players well, which is why their wage bill was higher than Chelsea's.
