Two things I wondered from this window 1) never mind les being busy how do United get the time do be in talks with Ronaldo (linked for moths with a return home) bale Pedro, neymar, Ramos, mane, muller and everyone else they are and have been linked with? 2) is the Barcelona fan board in meltdown as Utd have been said to be in talks to sign neymar?

The Long Overdue Pointless 2015/16 (Adidas) Kit Thread

All about opinions and this reporters opinions are rubbish. -
Found this link...Someone with far too much time on their hands but liked his commitment and found it quite thought provoking. What does the next 1000 years hold for us? Will we still be debating a move to a new stadium? In this sim world of FM it doesn't look like we have too much to look forward to in the next 1000 years although 3 champions league wins would be the highlight. Ever the optimist I was hoping for more over the next 1000 years but perhaps the FM programmers aren't aware of the 5 year plan? Wouldn't advise the Swindon fan to look though as according to this they will be the least successful over the period without even a cup final to look forward to...how's that for bad...1000 years to get it right just once and your team still don't win anything? You'd hope by the laws of averages to get a good cup run in that many seasons and get to a final at least once?

Welcome always nice to hear another fans views. Hope Swindon have a good season and eventually replace the scouters in the premier league. More importantly though pop over to the away kit thread and give your views on the green away kit. Apparently it makes our players invisible and so we won't ever be offside in an away game this year. An independent view might be interesting. Whilst there can you also state what you think our "traditional"away kit colour is? Lol at least you will be involved and probably also abused!

Thanks for the pic. Obviously they left early for our euro adventure! Welcome to the forum. It's a shame to see the owls down where they are. Always preferred them to the other side of Sheffield although got a soft spot for the Utd manager now. You had a great team when you got to the two cup finals playing some great football and it would be good if a side from Sheffield could get back up to the premier league IMO. Hope you have a good season.

Under MP they'd have been fit enough to last right to the end of the match, interesting though was Fonte stalking Rooney? A

It's just an xbox one I am sure. He goes in the black box room locks the door and plays fifa all day on a big screen. When asked he just says he has been studying players all day and then names his favourite fifa players. Mayuka was virtually the best player on fifa when we bought him, it's the only explanation that makes sense.

Edging his bets. if his son is any good he can play for Holland. if he is ****e he can be an England international!

Strengthening immediate Competitors

Crikey I agree we have hit the glass ceiling and who ever thought that year on year progression from this point is a reality are underestimating the task! We caught and passed the others who pay the same wages as us.Then passed the next set who again pay more, have globally bigger fan bases and really should be above us given their commercial income. The next group including scousehampton and spurs pay wages we can only dream of paying. It's frustrating but our only hope is to keep plugging away building a team and a squad who will accept the wages we pay and hope we can put together a season which maintains our position against those we have passed. Maybe we will trip up one of those above us and sneak a bit higher but that's a massive ask. A few years ago when Rory was our top signing I never dreamed I would be watching a team of players many of which we paid in excess of 10m pounds for. Never in my wildest dreams did I think we would be signing so many international players of the caliber I have seen the last few years (and osvaldo!) it's very early days in the transfer window and if I learnt anything last summer it's that it's not worth fretting until the window is closed. Even if this coming season is a disaster I owe a fantastic season last year to Katrina and Ronald. I for one believe the club will do their utmost to field a competitive team next year but if they don't sign everyone I wish we would then so be it.i am sure they know the risks and what we need- however in reality we can't have the squad we want end of there are loads f trade offs for a club our size. Katrina and co have still done a great job and the Southampton profile has never been higher. -
Schneiderlin Joins Manchester United (Official)

Not unheard of though how old was Pelle? -
I doubt that it will be Brenda trying to sign them. The blokes on borrowed time and with a queue of proper managers lining up the first blip and he will be gone.
-
Yeah but did he eat his own ****?
-
And man city spent a billion pound on a team and can't compete. Barcelona and Juventus are giants of world football so not being able to field a team as strong as them is not surprising. We need to think about catching up with the smaller sides before aiming for those clubs!
-
That just shows how much of an achievement this season was and why getting into that top 4 is so hard. 64 million pounds wages on a player with little resale value? And he isn't even their highest earner...
-
But I would say an extra £100 is good value (even if for less games)when you consider next season they are seeing their team play saints, Chelsea, arsenal, man city man Utd etc instead of Rotherham wolves Brighton etc? Next season they will watch some world class talent ( and Liverpool, Sunderland and Watford too but let's not depress them)

Did I read that bournemouths income next year will be higher than Benfica's?

Post-Match Reaction: SAINTS 6-1 Aston Villa
Saint-Fred replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Seen a tweet that the gap between the goals in actual play was only 64 seconds! That's amazing and surely the only way that the 2 mins 56 secs will ever get broken is if someone scores against their old club and doesn't celebrate? -

Aston Villa Ticket Rip Off - SFC Screwing Fans Over
Saint-Fred replied to pluto's topic in The Saints
I don't think many think like this. If the post was protesting against high ticket prices in general I would be sympathetic. However to pick one game smacks of wanting to go to that game and only that game. I am sure they are not so desperate to see Villa that this is about seeing them live. Is this about the last game of the season and bashing the club? As I said if the op is desperate to see saints there is a cat c game before the end of the season which is still on general sale!
