So if we have a poll about the sash kit and everyone says they like it...we then have a fan base who don't want stripes back?

I thought it was that it looked like an old liverpool kit and that it looked like a park standard template kit?

Think we are at cross purposes? We both agree the red kit wasn't popular. I don't believe that the huge majority actually are too bothered about stripes or not (as long as the kit looks good), some people think they are bothered and we have to have stripes. The polls never asked that question so they don't prove either way. Unless someone does a poll we will have to agree to disagree!!

Is that reality or just the few who make the most noise are assumed to represent the majority. Any poll has to be carefully worded and have a not too fussed option as I don't believe as many are truly as bothered as you think? I don't, like the stripes that much. Then again we don't know what signings are planned? The players seem pretty pleased with the ways things are and the ambition at the moment- so perhaps there is a plan! Wasn't there talk of a top 6 target for next year? Could be an epic fall or we could continue on an incredible journey under NC.... Remember a few years ago people laughed at the 5 year plan to be back in the premier league- however people talked about that reasonably openly? Not sure why comments like Terry Paines seem to wind you or others up so much? Is it just as they are magnified on here? Personally I would rather hear noises out of the club about pushing on up than here about "consolidation" for ever!

I won Div 1 with my Saints only team but I always play Mayuka (best player in the game IMO) and J Rod as a front 2. Although I have J Rod IF I went back to the NIF one who has 60 something goals in 70 something games for me and is much better again IMO! Much prefer Shaw at LB and the 2 IF CB's are real rocks. Really p's off those with superstar premier league teams when you beat them with this team!

IMO he was very poor. Although the red cards were correct, the fact that he had long since lost any control meant that the players did pretty much whatever they wanted all over the park. The ref has to take blame for the lack of discipline within the game which came from his lack of authority. When he did assert his authority - inevitably everyone had to stand around waiting for him to make his mind up about which way it was going to go. He then would make them move the ball a few inches to a different spot for the free kick? Players were blatent about shirt pulling it would seem knowing he would do little. Foster ignored his pleas for him to hurry up and the WBA players celebrated for an eternity when they scored with no consequence again despite his actioning for them to come back and pointing to his watch. Ramirez dodged two attempts at fouling him before Long chased him half the length of the pitch. No one can condon his actions but a lack of protection will result in people taking their own action. I am not talking about the Long fouls I am talking about the continous incidents throughout the game. IMO the ref has to take the blame for what happened yesterday. With no authority or control he created the environment for it. He also can't keep the time? Is that the ref's responsibility? 3 minutes extra time when we had 5 subs was it (2mins 30 seconds) a long stoppage for the sending off's, long stoppage for the gaols due to over celebration and time wasting by WBA? -I was grateful it was only 3 minutes but he was wrong there surely? I think we are unlikely to see an open, decent game of football whatever two teams are involved with this bloke in the middle of the park. WBA were simply better than us and would have beat us with any ref but this ref was very very poor.

Went to Arsenal V Barcelona couple of years back shortly after reading an article which stated a similar thing. Before the game I mentioned it to my gooner mate that the article stated there were seats in the stadium that hadn't been used for 2 years (as in the club section you have to buy a season ticket for x years). He laughed it off (obviously)..this was a sell out game full to the brim! When the game started we had a quick scan round and although there wern't empty swaves of seats nearly every block in the club sections had empty seats...must have added up to quite a lot of empty seats. My mate was shocked at how many there was when you actually looked for them.
