Next round of the cup and the Saints official site
Saint-Fred replied to Hedgehog's topic in The Saints
I know it's fashionable to bash the site but I have had no issues with it. I can view what I want and can purchase tickets perfectly well using the online system and am not sure what people expect it to do extra? So think it's your PC. In answer to the question yes we drew Sheff Weds but to my knowledge the date hasn't been decided other than it's w/c 24th September...all the TV games got to be sorted first I assume..therefore it can't be put in the fixture list yet? -
I put everyone on the takeover thread on ignore....still took me two hours to get through it all.
-
Do you think they will be fined for playing a weakened team in the cup?
-
"It's not an ideal situation," Appleton continued. "I thought I would have 20 players going on the pre-season tour to Spain so I could get the team organised. " good news Volders old chap....one ticket to spain is all your club can afford anyway!
-
Not sure they are all that although they got the champs right last year..both tables look pretty predictable (excuse the pun)! Last year they predicted... Manchester City Chelsea Manchester United Liverpool Arsenal Spurs Everton Fulham Stoke Bolton Sunderland West Brom Newcastle Norwich Aston Villa Wolves Swansea Wigan QPR Blackburn

Number 2 for me. How long were you grounded after scrawling across your mums pillows with a marker pen for effort number 1?

Once at the Dell! Mate asked last minute if I wanted to go to Saints V Spurs as he got cheap tickets..first season of the prem league. He picked me up we had a couple of pints walked to the ground..."Oh yeah we're in with the away supporters"...He could have told me before we left and I wouldn't have worn my Saints top! Steward didn't want know so sat in with them with my jumper trying to hide my top. Mate was unapologetic and said he got the tickets cheap so who cares?

Dumb things people done to get banned or whatever!
Saint-Fred replied to Bearsy's topic in The Muppet Show
Blatently not true- whilst that accusation could be levelled at the two old blokes, the swedish chef, those science geek guys fozzy bear and kermit who spent the entire show running away from a women they occasionally had male guests who were definately straight. -
would a cross between a lion and a bear be called a liar? And how would they get it together?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17977841 Thought this was a good article. Is the fan base there to support a larger stadium? maybe not if you are stuck in your old perceptions but for those who realise new potential customers are wider spread than 13-18 year old boys "the yoof"..then perhaps, with the right facilites, why wouldn't an extra 5-10k be possible? As has been stated before it's quite a wealthy area...perhaps those are the customers we will look for in future?

Are we still the 5th Richest Club in England?

Just not having any debt probably puts us in the top 3 richest! -
My vote would go to this..my favourite kit ever!
-
What were the penalty shouts like? At the time I thought the ref could easily have given two for pushes I haven't seen the highlights?
-
Personally i like the way we play and would much rather that than the Reading way. Both teams can't sit back and try to hit each other on the break! Thought we were good tonight, if we'd have scored first then Reading would have had to change their style but never mind..onwards and upwards. Confident if we play like that for the next three games we will be fine.

But hold on this was a Football League best player not the championship best player so all those goals Rickie scored over the last couple of years should come into it by this logic?
-
sounds like spaghetti stains to me... Solution...just stop slurping it in so the sauce doesn't fly all over your clothes also stopping eating spag in bed will help with the bedclothes one.....and get a women to do you washing they know what they are doing. Bearsy has a spare one if it helps.

Something that worked for me in the past was cutting holes in the font of all her panties when she was out to make them "crotchless". Wasn't trying to get rid of her but she left all the same so it seems to work!
-
It was ITV4..really good memories and a great end with an itnerview with Steve Moran, a bit about his return from his back injury and montage of Morans goals on the day to end!

You've confused me...Why not wait until Sunday and you can book both at the same time pay 1 x £3 booking fee and they will post both out to you? you will still have 10 days or so (once they have arrived) to pass the donny one on? I think you just like to make a fuss and criticise the club! IMO of course. First they wouldn't post them, then they would but sperately...If I moaned as much as you I wouldn't bother going and save all those £3 fees! -
Am I right in thinking we have never played Wigan in a league game? They went up when we went down so assuming we have never been in the same division Can't remember ever playing them in a cup either but may be wrong...could it be we pass again? Are they just frightened to play us or something?
-
Kelvin you should never need to get your wallet out in Southampton again..Stuck by us in our darkest hours and a really top guy! Great performance tonight those three points are down to you!

Hardly going to say anything else are they?..undermines the whole scheme a bit if they say "oh yes sir once donny's out the way we will sell the tickets on their own" Perhaps they are right but it would IMO be madness to have say 5000 tickets unsold on March the 25th and then not sell them?- unless they then link them to the Reading game?
