Pass but they cetainly know their football -"sent to the South Coast Giants until May"

Crikey it's not that hard really is it? You can buy a Coventry ticket now if you buy it with (or already have ) an Ipswich or Barnsley ticket. If not you must wait till general sale. You can buy a Pompey ticket from 11th March if you have purchsed (or do at the same time) a Doncastor ticket. Otherwise you have to wait until general sale. So either buy the other ticket for the appropriate game or wait until general sale. The club at no time said that on March 24th when we play Doncastor they won't sell any more pompey tickets if it hasn't sold out!

Just caught the end of something on Talksport where a Wolves fan (I think) was saying he'd like to see Adkins there and the presenter said well he'll most likely be a premier league manager at Southamptyon next year anyway!

Spurs away 3-1 The game that finally got Hoddle the sack. Both sets of supporters singing "we want Hoddle out"
-
The Donny game has been on sale for ages so how would that work? What if you already have a ticket? Can't see it being linked with any other game, we'll virtually sell out the two after Pompey anyway as they are the last two home games.

I reckon it's worms..try abit of this-just need someone who has had the art of worm charming passed down to them? Worm charming From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Worm charming, worm grunting, and worm fiddling are methods of attracting worms from the arse. The activity is usually performed to collect bait for fishing but can also take the form of a competitive sport. As a skill and profession worm charming is now very rare, with the art being passed through generations to ensure that it survives

Unfortunately I saw this land on the pitch at the bristol game- came from along near the dugouts when they scored- and what I am ashamed of most is that those around the **** that threw it did not point him/her out to the steawrds/police. No credibility? If we can't marshal out a few idiots throwing things then that label sticks more with us...IMO of course

Japanese flag ..steward told me pole and flag too big ?
Saint-Fred replied to millbrooktonian's topic in The Saints
ooops if you mean why do they take the union flag my understanding is it's a mix of: 1) Some think the "Jack" part is for like the swansea jacks 2) They think it winds up Cardiff who the swansea fans think believe they are Wales and therefore Cardiff gets better treatment than Swansea. 3) Some just believe that it isn't that bad to acknowledge that the union flag includes Wales and that they don't need to be ashamed to use it! -

either after a famous dog- Swansea Jack- (who saved people who fell in the river), sailors or miners apparently...and I thought they all came from that pub next to the old ground which was named after the dog. A popular nickname for natives of Swansea is "Swansea Jack", and many people believe that this name also stems from the famous dog. Others claim that the derivation is from the nickname given to Swansea's sailors, who had a reputation as skilled and dependable mariners. Another theory is that the coal miners of nearby coalfields called the miners from Swansea "Jacks" because their lunch-boxes were uniquely made of Swansea tin and called Jacks. -
Fully understand after the things that were thrown onto the pitch by our fans at at least two recent games...mongs

and who was that former player the other day who said Saints fans were fickle? What does he know, it's not like Saints fans had a almost a year of watching their team win every home game and then booed them off the park because they lost two in a row at home is it? oh wait........

your club has no chane of getting a celtic star player .
Saint-Fred replied to hooper88's topic in The Saints
Would argue about Hibs and Hearts they have more like league 1 fan base... Hearts average attendance is 13400. Of the 24 clubs in the championship only 6 average less than Hearts. There are 4 in league one who average more than Hearts. Hibs average attendance is 9800. -

Crikey "if wining things and playing in the champions league" is your criteria then you are as big as the mighty Bangor, Barry Town and even Total Network Solutions who have also achieved both. Not sure they get as far in the Champions League though as Celtic are in the final every other year aren't they? -
Definately if he had jumped straight up it would have been different but he led with his arm whilst leaping from yards away. Good performance, great result, Cork MOM for me.

Gets my vote too and different tune for a change!

To be honest it's really simple... People are individuals and as such should not be put into catogories. It's when you do the trouble starts...any easy example is if you said to me the young of today are workshy and running out of control...I could introduce you to 100's who are hardworking and a credit to any country and defy that stereotype. Yes individuals in that group are workshy and out of control but then I can also find you people who are workshy and out of control in every other age group and race. Therefore I think what you have done is treated each person on their own qualities regardless of race, age, sex etc...and as you do that you won't go far wrong!

You can't buy a Saints shirt in JJB in Southampton let alone buy one in Tokyo?
-
Is that the number of stalkers or hits on the airlines website?
-
or turn it around...We have played almost all the top teams in the league at Home (and beaten them) so in theory we should still get a reasonable return from the remaining home games! Oh and whilst we are at it..yeah we only picked up 5 points in december...but West Ham only picked up 4!!

If you'd have asked me this time last year..would you take for example 14 wins 3 draws and 3 defeats over the next year at home bearing in mind you are going up a league I'd have snatched your hand off! To get what we actually got is fantastic and still the unbeaten home run goes on......It's still a great time to be a saints supporter,it's a great home run, we are still top of the league and when we get connelly etc back we will push anyone in this league!
-
Surely if you have the situation where it's difficult to get tickets then you will never grow a fan base further as the same 30000 supporters will come every week. You need a ground which is over your regular capacity to be able to bring in new fans...If they can easily come along and not have to book months in advance you will hook some and your attendance may grow?

Are people still waiting for Pompey ticket email?
Saint-Fred replied to 1976_Child's topic in The Saints
To be fair to the ticket office they obviously are putting in the hours to get it done as someone is still there inputting now (well at 8.31 they were!)
