Surely the person committing to all the home games should get priority over someone who does not commit to any games? I think the system is as fair as it can be as it rewards those who attend most games! The good news for those not able to get to those away tickets is that tonight's game is not to sold out so they can all go to see saints away! (although I suspect the argument is not about going to Barnsley or to see saints and more about going to anfield.) The argument is surely non existent anyway as away games are selling out to season ticket holders so surelybthat means those who have been to most aways are ST holders anyway?

Looking at that site I can see why people would be upset at losing stripes. (the traditionalists) personally i am not that bothered but looking at other clubs (reading, Bournemouth, C Palace) you can see they do not really have an idenitity and swap shirts (and almost colours) at a whim as they possibly seek that identity.

There was media reports that Cardiff were willing to pay a higher wage than us but wouldn't pay the same fee to Celtic. Perhaps this has created the expectation for his weekly wage which we haven't matched? His agent would obviously know the numbers from Cardiff.

In my experience in the real world about 10 maybe 20% desperately want stripes the rest are not too concerned. That may wrong so I'll concede that's only the circle of people I know and most of those grew up with the different kits so are less 'saints are stripes" My own perception is stripes aren't a major issue either way but you'll always have the 20% screaming the loudest. We are going round in circles but come the end of the day when it's released in July if it ain't stripes some may not buy it, lots will and the important bit is on the pitch not the design of the kit

Sorry yeah I just think that the majority just want a kit that looks good not that is stripes which is why the sash was so popular. Different story if we went away from red but that probably just helps cb's point!

Fair enough! But I still think if the red kit looked good enough people would have voted different therefore stripes may not be the issue.
