I have had one for years and will continue if i can. There were some games last season that you needed to be registered on the system to even get a ticket so people who buy the odd ticket may not be able to get to a paticular game. As many said above, its another money spinner and I personally like to give my bit as I can't afford a season ticket/travel to many games. My mum even buys one and she hasn't been to a game in years!!!

Most top four club supporters I know talk utter tripe when talking about football. Half of them don't even know who the Chairman is. If I ask someone who they support and they say Man Utd, they really have to convince me that they really do SUPPORT them.

I reckon you should repair it but wait until all the takeover is confirmed and when we know who the mystery man is. While repairing it you will have a large grin on your face and you will know that your mugs repair will represent the repair of a once great football club.

Yeah as a general sort of thing. There are other Prem teams with a bit more going for it in terms of grounds and academys, even Championship teams. But he probably wants to start from scratch and sees it as a nice little project. Hope it goes tits up though.
