3 at the back again, I do wonder if we need to show less attacking ambition and focus on clean sheets, after what happened at Bristol - a solid back 4 with 2 cdms rather than so much width, yes it gives us a lot of attacking choice, but it leaves us too open, and we're not performing well enough to take so many risks. I guess still is feeling the pressure and can't afford to be cautious.

Policing is another matter entirely. We all think it is unlikely we will have genital inspections. It's likely this just results in people using the law as an excuse to bully people out of toilets who they don't like the look of. The initial ehrc guidance, which is our only current clue to the direction the full guidance will take, talked about biological women "being excluded from women-only facilities where reasonable objection is taken to their presence based on their appearance or attributes." It's based on the concept that everyone "can tell", which is a bit like the toupee fallacy.
-
I'm not sure it's great, as the upcoming system seems like it will be looks based.
-
We're agreeing, the old system we've had for decades is fine, and supreme court and ehrc shouldn't be making laws and guidance based on appearance. But that's where we are at the moment, unfortunately.
-
If you follow the logic of all this, without genital checks, toilets will be policed by how masculine or feminine you are. Butch women will have to use the gents, and effeminate men will have to use the ladies. We will all end up mixed together anyway. The ehrc solution to this acknowledged issue is that it will be asymmetrical, meaning that butch women (or trans men) will simply not be allowed to use single sex spaces, and will only be able to use specially provided gender neutral facilities, which most places won't provide, so they'll just have to cope. Trans women who pass will still use the ladies, but would be eligible to use the gents too, which I guess is nice for them.

I don't think still is the problem, it's the players. I predict still will lose his hair before season is out, or at least turn grey.

Spoilers! Some of us are behind on stream, I still had 30 mins left 😡
-
Bring downs on, give him another 45 mins - he can't be much worse and might win a couple of those 50 50 headers we seem to be going for in the middle of the pitch.
-
Calm down, They're 4th.
-
343 is a bit risky, but I think Still feels we need to go for it, so I'm going for a 3-2 win. Id rather we go attacking with 343 than having two rows of 4 and pass it round our own half.
-
That graph doesn't show any identifiable drop in people identifying as trans, and certainly not halving. It shows the share of students not identifying as male or female. That's not the same thing at all.

Fucking hell, who watches this shite gotcha journalism seriously?

So since sports republic came in, we have spent a total of 355 million euros on players coming in, and we've received 362 million euros on players going out. So not a massive disaster. The losses from our sulemanas and our onuachus etc are more than offset by the diblings fernandes and lavias
-
They are the same age, but fernandes was a premier league signing, with decent pedigree. Also midfield, where the pressure to score is less and getting service and possession is much easier. A better comparison would be pelle, who also got dogs abuse when he started but turned out to be decent.
-
Because the area he was in is roughly the inverse of sotons demographic, presumably if he came here he would be scared by the lack of Asian and black faces? He went on to explain he wants to see all skin colours side by side, so I assume he would be horrified if he went to Romsey. I look forward to the Tory policies designed to increase ethnic diversity in their stronglands, it will be quite a shift.
-
He can still come good. He's very young, has had a rough time settling in off the pitch (USA games, lots of moving around), and he's only had what, 200mins of game time so far? Personally I'd like still to keep giving him minutes, and at least he has a chance of coming good, I wouldn't give up on him yet, it's not like he is keeping le tiss out of the team.
-
It's another point closer to safety. They all add up and we'll be thankful for this point at the end of the season.
-
They only slowed and zoomed on the one front angle, which is deceptive. The two side angles show it hit his arm then his head. Precisely why we have var, as he'd have gotten away with it in the EFL. You can also see it here, watch the trajectory of the ball and tell me it didn't change direction before it hit his head: https://youtu.be/reQILC9vDLc?si=fAeculsUpMvjoHu3

It's Christianophobia, with an o, and it is a thing and recognised by the UN.

Nice to see McCarthy getting the benefit of the doubt from posters on here despite being beaten when it was easier to save than not. Imagine if that had been bazunu, it would have been a meltdown on here! Easy win on Tuesday at least, we need to score at least 2 though to counter the McCarthy -1 handicap.
-
Think you might be projecting, listen to him on the touchline and you'll see how confident and assured he is in his communication, it's just a shame he can't be on both sides of the pitch to get live messages across. Just a matter of time before the players get it and can start making the right decisions by themselves.
-
Baz keeper distribution is world class, that's the one thing we presumably all agree on. McCarthy has better positioning, but he makes these mistakes every time he plays. Baz all the way for me.

It sadly never surprises me how myopic people are when to comes to this topic. the right go on about free speech, and the American right even claim we don't have it in the UK, when of course we do. They claim to be cancelled whilst playing to crowds of a hundred thousand people, and making very cushy careers out of how they ”cant say anything these days". Examples of actual cancellations are minimal, just some examples of companies who eg decide not to extend someone's contract because they are flopping their cocks out at MasterChef contestants, or because they obscene prank call beloved Fawlty towers actors. Then, when someone on the left actually does get sacked for having an opinion, they're fine with it, it's all lols and a victory for common sense. The free speech argument is the most disingenuous of them all, and cancel culture, until now, has not been a thing, and in the UK, it isn't a thing. Your opinions have consequences, and affect your reach and public perception and popularity, but there are no restrictions on what opinions you have and how you monetise them, only those governed by market forces.

As usual, this is just ragebait bollocks. If you go to the source, you will find that they state "person in water" is a more inclusive term, but: "currently, the term 'man overboard' still exists within electronic equipment, software and official documents produced by governing bodies. The important point is to be able to raise an alarm where a person has fallen overboard to initiate the emergency procedures. Until this is able to change, it would be recommended to continue to use the term 'man overboard' when following safety procedures" The guide itself was created by the RYA in response to a high volume of requests for one from their affiliated clubs and recognised training centres. So whatever that source is, it's disingenuous.

Yes, release the full backs and allow Aziz and fellows to find more central space and more attacking support. As it is, fellows and Aziz are just getting trapped and/or chasing back.
