Terrorist Attacks - WARNING: CONTAINS DISTRESSING IMAGES
pingpong replied to sadoldgit's topic in The Lounge
The perpetrator sounds like he would get on with some of the people on here... "the suspect is an outspoken critic of Islam, and has promoted conspiracy theories regarding an alleged plot by German authorities to islamicise Europe." -
Finally a thread where we can talk about the new manager. Crazy that we haven't had a thread to discuss the new manager earlier.
-
We gave them possession 60yards from goal, that's an improvement on 20-30 yards, and gave us a chance to stay in the game for longer. At least this way the opponent has to be able to break us down to score and do something with the ball. Against the likes of palace and Fulham, they will find it harder and we might actually sneak some points.
-
Certainly gary o Neil would be an appointment to demonstrate how things could get even worse. Would be similar to the nathan jones appointment in that we would know he is doomed from day 1, will give us some terrible moments and then be off again in a couple of months.
-
He'd make our first team now...
-
Mourinho is 50/1 if you're interested.

Don't know what you've done to hurt your ai, but I did the same and got this: "We have decided to part ways with our Men’s First Team Manager, Russell Martin. This decision was not easy, but it reflects our current reality. We were all aware of the uphill battle we faced as we returned to the Premier League, the most competitive league in the world. Despite our collective efforts and the board's support for Russell and his staff, the results have not met our expectations, and a change in leadership was necessary. We are grateful to Russell and his staff for their dedication and hard work over the past 18 months. The memories of last season, especially the Play-Off Final win in May, will always be cherished by everyone at the club. Simon Rusk, our Under-21s Manager, will step in as interim manager while we search for a permanent replacement. In the background, we remain optimistic about the future, thanks to the promising talent emerging from our Academy. Our young players’ contributions are a source of pride and strength for the club. We deeply appreciate the unwavering support and positivity from our fans. Your passion and understanding, especially in challenging times, fuel our long-term commitment to the club."

They only put an R after the name when it is mathematically certain.
-
From the coverage - was it ramsdale saying it?
-
"Fans still with the team. Lads dug in for russell martin second half."
-
Because he kept running. It's not his fault he isn't premier league standard, at least he put his shift in.
-
Twas ever the case.

You can't achieve the best ever 5 goal comeback without conceding 5 first.
-
Back to possession football after the boards first half experiment, and it's a lot more even. Vindication for rm and should quieten down the naysayers.
-
Think rm has given the fans what they asked for, we've been playing high press, and abandoned the possession football, looking for channels instead. This is what we asked for, it just shows how incredible a job rm has been doing in the other games for them to be as close as they have been. I think the board probably forced this on him, and now he has all the ammo needed to guarantee his job to the end of the season...

You can't achieve the best 5 goal comeback of all time without conceding 5 first.

I am, he is on track to get our projected target points-wise. Once you accept that the bookies, as always, were correct, we were always going to end up with low doubledigit points, and you can't do that and win with exciting football - it was always going to be a grind. Trust in the process. This will be the least exciting relegation battle for some years, with us wolves and Ipswich all way off the pace.
-
I actually agree with him, the championship is a much better league, properly competitive. Last season was better than this one. Next season will be better than this one. The best we will ever get in the Premier League is a 6th-10th place finish, which would be boring as anything.
-
5th from bottom? We'd all take that at the end of the season. In that context, RM is doing well, results wise.

*dad joke klaxon* If you have a #scartissue, get rid and replace with HDMI. It's superior quality even if you are still watching shit.

The Starmer Years - Can The New Broom Sweep Clean?

Depends what your target is. If you want to reduce immigration, it's a valid approach? -
The Starmer Years - Can The New Broom Sweep Clean?

A couple of takeaways: 1. So the tax rises were quite small, all things considered, and not worthy of all the fuss. 2. The tories really did fuck up on immigration. -
There is a lot less variation of names in some cultures or religions, so it's skewing the data a bit. As an aside, the rest of those boys names in the top 10 are pretty wankerish- what going on there?

She's going for an egot, she's plenty famous. And she's the actual lead actress.

I'm woke af, but this manufactured argument isn't touching the sides. The only outrage here is coming from people outraged about non existent outrage from a mythical opponent. I haven't seen any bother on this topic from anyone in the lgbtqia communities, this is very much a non issue. Eventually football will catch up with the rest of society and move beyond this fake panic about nothing in particular.
