Still find it interesting how so many of the goals we have let in since peretz came in he is stood on two feet watching. He doesn't seem to anticipate at all, he relies on his quick reactions fully. Maybe that's why he flaps so much too, and why his saves often look spectacular.

It happens most games, we usually get away with it. Diving header clearance springs to mind, matsuki saved his blushes last week against city, and one of the Boro goals he was in no mans land. If you look at the goals we concede these days, he's often stood on both feet outside of his 6yard box. It's the price we pay for him having grobelaar-style agility, that he flaps at crosses and rushes out like a lunatic. It's part of what makes him popular to be fair.

Perhaps. Certainly he is good at controlling the game and makes better decisions with distribution. Peretz didn't need to make any difficult saves and missed the ones that came in, which baz would probably have done the same, so it comes down to attacking play, and releasing pressure. Not sure it would have made enough of a difference to win though.

I think the 4 at the back was the change that made us look good, moreso than the keeper - and thb has massively improved under TONDA. My ranking (Bazunu) 1. Scienza, for passion and skill 2. Thb, for leadership and stability 3. Charles, just for sheer quality 4. Manning, sympathy vote.

If you are looking for a single individual moment that had the most impact, it has to be bazunu - the turnaround Vs Wrexham proved to be critical to us getting into the playoffs and that single moment was worth 6 points. The rest has really been a team effort .

Baz was always accused of being slow to get down, but that's a few goals now where peretz has been caught standing on his back foot, watching it go past him. Think we will piss all over them second half, and we've still got Leo on the bench.
