When I saw you for the first time (First time) My knees began to quiver (Quiver) And I got a funny feeling (Feeling) In my kidneys and my liver (Digestive system, baby) My hands they started shakin' (Shakin') My heart began a-thumpin' (Boom, boom, boom) My breakfast left my body (Huey, huey, huey) Now, darlin', tell me something [Chorus] weve got tyler dibling (dibling) dibling Weve got tyler dibling (Dibling) (To the tune of tongue tied, obviously)

It's a myth that baz can't make good saves https://x.com/Castrol/status/1613898918823137280?ref_src=twsrc^tfw|twcamp^tweetembed|twterm^1613898918823137280|twgr^d4563bd405e6b6678668b2eec7b2fad8bb444949|twcon^s1_c10&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.premierleague.com%2Fnews%2F3016884 And he is far better at passing. The big advantage ramsdale has is that people will overlook the above regardless, and he won't be blamed for every goal like baz was. That's huge for a position that relies on confidence.

Think people need to adjust their aspirations and expectations. Once you realise that the bookies were right, and reset to a target of 13points over the season, we're doing OK and showing promise. And we're only a win away from 14th, which is a good achievement. Ipswich are the first team we've played where you'd hope for all 3 pts but we will hopefully get a surprise win elsewhere and I'm still confident we can get to 13 points by the end of the season. Keep the faith, a new manager won't be any more likely to get us there.

He's really doing well, starting to escape dwayne's shadow even?

Assuming var would have got their offsides, weve had the best chances of the match. We've had less possession which should please some of the moaners on here, and we're winning. What's not to like? They've had two dominating spells, we've had two dominating spells. All to play for second half, and we have the edge...

The Starmer Years - Can The New Broom Sweep Clean?
pingpong replied to sadoldgit's topic in The Lounge
Not really, whataboutery implies some sort of equivalence, whereas I'm just showing the baseline measure. Being gifted some earrings for the missus is objectively not as bad as committing demicide, or being a perpetrator of domestic violence. -
Be fair to GM they are being quite woke and enlightened on this topic, with a "believe all women" stance that is refreshing when you look at how the law still deals with SA cases.

The Starmer Years - Can The New Broom Sweep Clean?
pingpong replied to sadoldgit's topic in The Lounge
If starmer can avoid: -encouraging people to go out and die in a pandemic -crashing the economy overnight -domestic violence, extra marital affairs, spaffing his junk up the wall and writing a book instead of attending emergency meetings -detaining, deporting and refusing legal rights to British citizens -calling a referendum to self harm every aspect of our economy to placate the racists in his party Then he will have safely achieved higher standards than the previous five prime ministers. -
The fans were asking him to do it, with the Wibbly hands, for about 30 seconds ‐ if he'd not done it we'd all be saying he's lost touch.

Goal difference has been OK, especially before yesterday. If you'd have offered -7 gd and above Everton by this stage, most of us would have bitten your hand off, surely? Not sure anyone should be expecting more, losing to man utd is zero surprise to anyone.

So is he keeping the pet eating ones?
-
Not really. Our strikers aren't forced out wide, that is a tactical decision. The irritating thing is that we chose that for the opposition we were playing against, not for every game, but what will happen is we will play them central, score a couple of goals, and the numbnuts on here will think they were right all along and that they know better than our professional coaching staff.

Not to ignore that around 800k pensioners who hadn't applied for due benefits in the past now have, it's actually approaching cost neutral and is a redistribution in favour of those who need it most...

THE HAITIANS ARE COMING TO EAT YOUR CATS AND DOGS.

That gk has some attitude, would not mind them in goal, if we're going to give away stupid goals we may as well have someone who can do a good swoon/hair flick. The serious answer is to copy nfl, and have a draft system and salary cap. Everything should be weighted towards 8-8 and every club has a chance, even if it might take a few years to get there.
-
Not just that, you're not allowed to remember negatives from the season before either, we even have threads lusting after nathan jones.

Just a case of choosing the battlegrounds; Jenrick if you want to steal lollipops from foreign children. Badenoch if you are scared that woke people are trying to cancel you. Cleverly if you want to cosy up to Rwanda again. They'll probably end up with jenrick, he only has the one incredibly cruel news story in his past to whitewash, the others have multiple.

Sounds angry. Good suggestions though, I'm sure john lewis will be looking at their employees facial expressions to evaluate how frightened they are of men. Interesting to note they are not talking about transgender issues here, they are talking about male colleagues who identify as men but wear dresses when they go to work to infiltrate locker rooms. I'm surprised this is such a big and common issue at john lewis as I've never encountered it in my management career and have worked in many places with gender neutral facilities, including our own general hospital.

Or to summarise: Be better at defending. Be better at attacking. Be better without the ball. Be better with the ball. Genius. I wonder if russell martin has considered this strategy?

Nathan jones presided over our defeat to Nottingham forest, which was the single most embarrassing and inept performance by any football team in any league throughout the eternity of time, past, present and future. It made me ashamed to be a human being, let alone a saints fan.

Countdown to 12 points - a new record for Southampton FC
pingpong replied to Dman's topic in The Saints
I'm confident we can get 6 or 7 draws. So we just need to win 2. I can see us getting a win or two from Leicester Ipswich or Everton, plus one surprise, maybe Fulham or cp. I think we can do it. -
Thanks, really positive news that the numbers are down on previous years, augers well for the future. Whilst the met is still over‐arresting nhc, hopefully that will begin to improve too now. Onwards!
