Unusually, the view from behind the goal was the best angle to see it - haaland clearly offside, clearly interfering. It's exactly this sort of goal that VAR is best for and they got to the right decision eventually.

Actually, his stats also show that he has the most difficult GK job in the league, saints are inthe 98th percentile for PSxG / SoT. That basically means post shot expected goals Vs shots on target. Basically the quality of shots on the keeper. Its a measure of the kinds of chances we give away to our opponents.

Bazunu gets ripped for being slow to get down, but at least he does get down. Maybe he'd get an easier time if he just watched it go in like peretz yesterday. We've had a ton of bigger embarrassments in the last year alone, the whole club has been an embarrassment, losing to Doncaster in a cup noone cares about anymore would be a tiny footnote in the continued utter shit mess we've become.

he is easily best of the 3 keepers we have in the squad, so there's 2 worse straight away. He's not niemi class but he is as good as most of our former keepers, probably about as good as beasant was, or pj. The flak he gets is unbelievable - every single goal is put down as his fault even though our style of play creates easy chances for our opponents. I can't remember the last goal that was his fault, even the fumble the other week was caused by an offside player.

Don't know who Jordy is (star trek visor guy?) but the stats are undeniable, no other goalkeeper in the division has had to face more clear chances than baz has - we give players clear shots from in and around the 6 yard box that other teams don't.

Players gave up for some reason, goals 2, 3 and 4 all caused by slow reacting defenders. Players waiting for the ball to come to them rather than actively looking for it. Baz not to blame for any of the goals, very poor defending discipline.

Another point saved by baz, well in double figures now. Astonishing for someone who gets so much flak, two man of the match performances in a row, 2 world class saves in as many games, well deserved clean sheet today and still has people moaning, what more can a player do to win over his own teams supporters?
