In a kemi-future, this person would be forced to use the women's toilets, they're a good example of how you can't "always tell". Without the top surgery scars, I don't believe anyone on here would know they were trans.

The Starmer Years - Can The New Broom Sweep Clean?
pingpong replied to sadoldgit's topic in The Lounge
I think they are saying it's a cost for the employer associated with the employees salary, ie part of overhead associated with each employee. I wouldn't consider it as "my money" though, it's very much a tax on employers that just happens to be associated with the number of employees and their salaries. If they abolished it, it wouldn't pass on to me, I'm sure... -
What's the score? (Possession, obviously, I know the goals)

Not sure why dibling doesn't count, but it would be quicker to name players who haven't improved? Nearly all of our players are better than they were before he joined, some markedly so, eg bednarek, smallbone, kwp. But being better doesn't make them good enough for the premier league, or to be eyed by big clubs. The best manager in the world can't get smallbone to real Madrid level. So easier question, who has gotten worse, or stayed the same? Sulemana maybe? Anyone else?

Currently 80 to 1, could be worth a tenner...

Reparatory justice for the transatlantic slave trade
pingpong replied to BARCELONASAINT's topic in The Lounge
That's not so rare, a lot of slave rape back in the day. -
10pts would be amazing, our season target is 13 - if we're on 10pts in January RM should get another contract extension.

Children's mayor has some serious flair in that unveil picture. As a city of sanctuary, 100 percent agree, really positive and great to see.

Best game for aribo in a long time, capped off with a goal. Manning and kwp our biggest threats down the left, dibling on the right, archer on the scoresheet, what's not to like?

It is national curriculum, part of the previous governments insistence on teaching "British values". To be fair, it's an important subject and thought provoking. The answer is architect, by the way.

Apparently it was the "n word"...

Dangerous for those of us with autism. My livelihood depends on being able to work, I don't want to live off benefits. (Which I guess she would also want to remove).
-
Badenoch getting more dangerous, wanting to remove reasonable adjustments for people with autism.

Is that real? I feel silly asking, but assume it's not real? Satire is difficult sometimes.

Isn't the warning about how Christianity is depicted as sinful, antisemitic and full of sin, including rape? So the warning isn't about sensitivity to dark topics, but simply a flag that the christian beliefs being depicted are in context for the time it was written? Seems reasonable? Good headline fodder for gb news, mail, telegraph etc though

Not to mention the brexit party stood down. Don't think johnson would have done any better against reform this year.

If kemi gets in labour will need to avoid a winter election to head off any claims of weather control / weather weapons. I expect starmer would just capitulate on trans issues and neutralise the battleground with badenoch, so they are probably better with jenrick and running on the "stop the brown people" ticket. Neither seem very hopeful, how on earth are they going to get this turned around to traditional conservative family values? Maybe jenrick, generate a scandal in a year or two and try for a new leader again?
-
Vote lending for sure, big own goal, and it means badenoch could well get in 😯 we will see a campaign based on getting rid of disabled toilets and the evils of trans-women. Not sure how she is going to win over the grown ups in the room.

we are exceeding expectations, as bookies favourites to finish bottom, we are higher up in the league than expected, so it would be insanity to change manager at this point.

Thank you, some people thought I was criticising the tories for some reason. -

When I said "they", I was referring to labour, they are the government in power now. -

They can use the tory plans, when covid hit, the mortuary business had a ton of investment and all the plans exist to use conference centres etc and refrigeration units to house all the dead bodies we could imagine. You could almost say "let the bodies pile high"... -
Think he was quite specific that he was talking about social media noise, and that since letting it affect him as a player he has learnt to ignore it, both in good times, and bad times. So specifically, he is ignoring the likes of x and sainstweb. Which sounds very sensible, to be fair.

Hard to know, do our players really get the opportunity to go full pelt? Usually only if they are running back to recover lost possession, it's rare that our forwards get in a foot race.
