I think Benteke would score a fair few for us, he would have been a perfect and better replacement for Pelle. I think people forget how good he was for Villa and of course he didn't replicate that form fir Liverpool but he never really had a chance. They were crap under Rogers for his first season and Klopp didn't want him from the start. Peopel talk about systems all day long but systems are so much more about your shape when you haven't got the ball. Going forward in possession should see players look for spaces or runs anywhere on the pitch rather than worry about what side of a ****ing diamond they are on. Benteke is a good player and I can't see why he would have gone to palace over us all things being equal.

I see the Echo are quoting Ms Liebherr in Duncan's new book, she wrote the foreword and talks about how proud she is of where we are now. She also talks very fondly about how her father had a vision of where he wanted us to be. As someone initially sceptical when she took over it seems like many of the doubters were wrong. I think she is here for the long run now and she is serious about wanting to do well. I wonder what her real long term plan is though?

i thought it was subsidising all of our away tickets, which would have been fine but to subsidise the away fans that come to our ground is a bit of a kick in the balls really.

Jesus, if my passionate defence, as you call it, is questioning his liability for something that he left behind three years ago, well you are more deluded than I thought. I think most people have concluded that if you make the boxes cheaper and provide better food etc. Then the people will come but unfortunately your board of choice are struggling with that concept.

I'm not necessarily saying he is wrong in respect of the product on offer but to blame it on an ex employee from years ago, well, thats just him isnt it. At the end of the day the club are trying to make too much money on the product and people are realising after a recession and now Brexit that it is simply not worth the expense. It prices are lowered and the standard is improved then perhaps some will want the product again. That is in the hands of the current board and marketing team, nothing to do with some has been.
