  1. It was 12-1 at the very end of the season, thought about putting money on it but decided it was too pessimistic
  2. Had £300 on Lallana making the squad from back on November. 5/2. Laughing. Going get him back on an England shirt even though he's off to Liverpool.
  3. Have you guys not checked the odds? Lallana is off to Liverpool now according to Betvictor ...
  4. This thread really wouldn't be here if Robles had made the save he should have. Glad to see him score, would be great to boost his confidence but I really don't think he's "sheer class"
  5. I was sitting next to Boruc in the Itchen hospitality and I glared at him when Gazza let in the 2nd goal and he looked back at me and shrugged. Fair enough.
  6. http://www.betvictor.com/sports/en/football-specials/england-specials/coupons/982100/16526510/403239200;401410500;402602400;403851000;389023500/0/0/PE/0/0/0/0/0 I know it's v early days but odds will likely only narrow and I know quite a few people on here do a fair bit of betting. So thoughts on the Saints trio going to Brazil? Betvictor: Lambert - 13/8 Lallana - 9/4 Rodriguez - 6/1 Personally I'm really tempted to lay a load of money down on Lallana. Main worry in my opinion is injury rather than Hodgson not selecting him. But heh, there's always a chance he'll pick Ashley Young for no reason whatsoever instead but I really think Lallana has done enough to warrant a place.
  7. I'm very keen to get one or two (if possible!) tickets for this game. Any help from kind Samaritans hugely appreciated.
  8. I'm surprised so many of you are keen to go to West Brom. It was a disastrous away game this season, freezing cold and all we sang was West Broms a ****hole, we want to go home. Because it was a monday night on sky though it was only £15 a ticket. Could have gone 3 and a bit times for what I paid to go to Stamford Bridge although that was worth every penny!
  9. Well some of the others were a bit more cheery, signing lots of autographs and stuff
  10. I had a box ticket today and he came through reception after the game. I spoke to him and he seemed really down, not happy at all.
  11. So excited for this game. Having been the Zingarevich's private English tutor (for Anton's youngest brother) this game holds special interest for me. In fact one of the only major conversations I had with Boris (the Dad) was about Adkins just after he'd been sacked and I recommended him as a great manager. Funny old world.
  12. It's because Pompey ddon't actually own that carpark anymore. It was owned separately by former owner Alexandre Gaydamak but his company went into administration recently so the carpark is owned by administrators of Gaydamak's company, not the club's administrators. Just one small example among many of how messed up the club is...
  13. fantasy premier league I don;t see how people can't rate Benteke. He has been a beacon of hope for Villia. A quality player and has more potential than Lambert. but I'd have Lambert EVERY time. He does so much for us that go beyond the stats listed. His touch, countless knock downs and holding the ball up well. So important for us.
  14. I was in the Club Wembley seats. From what I can remember around where I was sitting it was 1/4 passionate Saints fans, 1/2 quiet Saints fans and 1/4 neutral
  15. Outrageous £50 ticket, going alone too as none of my mates want to fork out the money. Got the SMS office to send my ticket up to Stamford Bridge for collection, it better have bloody happened. no way i can get to St Mary's before the game and I've been told my ticket will be waiting for me...
  16. Is anyone else annoyed about the Chelsea tickets? I'm a member, having been to a handful of home and away games this season, but according to the website from tomorrow onwards when I'm eligible to get my ticket you have to go to St Marys to pick it up. This is something I really cannot do in the next couple days as I'm busy living and working in London.
  17. Yeh of course. there's no problem with them openly supporting their team but biased or not you can still see whether a tackle was fair or not. In their eyes the United players could do no wrong
  18. The commentary was almost unbearable. Biased to the point of absurdity.
  19. We didn't sell out going to WBA and tickets were cheaper and it was closer. That was 5 hours driving for me to see a very poor game and I don't think us playing away at Stoke will be any more glamorous. They've got to be the most boring side in the Prem by a mile. I'm sure this will make general sale especially with so many games over christmas
  20. This is pretty random but does anyone know what's going on about us playing away at Chelsea? I've looked it up and we have a provisional date for the 15th of december but nothing confirmed and that's pretty soon...

  22. Probably same guys who let one off at the Pompey game (and threw it at the police). At Portsmouth they were sitting in the row in front of me so somewhere in the middle of the Northam / Kingsland corner
  23. You know I think the number of Saints fans putting money on West Ham to win has changed the odds. I got 15/8 on skybet as soon as we lost on saturday but now they're offering 6/5. That's a big difference
  24. I just £10 on West Ham to win their last 2 games and us to lose against Coventry, odds were 38-1 on BetVictor
