I know he is fast, but I have seen no evidence of him being fast. I’ve never seen him win a race for the ball, or leave anyone in his wake. I think, as someone said above, he has no football acumen, therefore making any pace he may have irrelevant. It reminds to a point of the time Usain Bolt tried to make it.

Maybe he’s working with what he has got, because our midfield is woefully short of depth and quality? On the current showing it’s really only Lesley and Fernandes that are up to premier league standard.

I don’t think he dropped anything, the whole team was fading badly, but more importantly he would have wanted to see as many of the main squad as he could. Hopefully he will have learned enough to get Sulemana out of the door and use AA and Aribo as occasional late substitutes only.

The lack of fitness and conditioning became apparent in the second half today it seemed, they were totally unable to continue the impressive intensity of the first half.

Well?… I’m irrationally positive now we have rid ourselves of the footballing dementor. The second half against Liverpool shows what can be done if effort and positivity are applied, “hard work beats talent” etc. realistically it may not beat it but it does give you a much better chance. I think we’ll see more of that under Juric. Hopefully we’ll rid ourselves of some of the deadwood and make a decent signing or two in the January window. it ain’t over ‘till it’s over. in Ivan we trust.

I haven't excluded it as a possibility. We have some talent, I expect us to add more in the window, we have employed a competent and experienced manger. The only way is up!
