That should have been the end of him, right there. He was on loan at the time as well, I never understood why we went back for him and Fraser, neither were up to premier league standard, Fraser was, but he’d had his day.

I’ve been saying the same since the start of the season, every team we play against looks better organised, more together and fitter than us. Hard work beats talent yah di ya di yah.

To your first point, he is massively out of his depth, but that isn’t his fault, it was extremely irresponsible of whoever gave him the opportunity to undertake such a big job, not his for accepting it. Regarding the “worrying” interviews, I’d say that is part of the same issue, the pressure he must be feeling must be intolerable for him, his life must be hell right now. what a mess.

I doubt he does hair dryers, he has no charisma, he doesn’t have any notable playing experience and isn’t mature enough to have developed any wisdom. I do agree they are the basic requirements, which makes him a baffling choice. He was always going to struggle. i think, in whatever industry or business you find yourself in, taking orders from someone who has never done what you have done as well as being very young is always going to make relationships very difficult.

I think I’d like to see KWP, Stu Armstrong, Janny B and Che Adams bought in for this one.

Alfie said something interesting on TSP, he seemed to be supporting Still’s reference to some of the players not giving a crap, he said something along the lines of, from his experience that’s very true. Later in the podcast he referred to some players they really wanted out the club in the summer but are still there, presumably causing issues.

You can hear it on “going home with Adam and Jo”, which is a repeat of the Solent post match show. It was in reference to Spors being potentially unhappy with interference from somewhere/ someone else within SR. It maybe pure speculation, but it’s unlike Adam to be so unguarded.

I don’t think there is an answer other than a change of ownership. I don’t trust them to appoint the best manager for us. I don’t trust them to buy players that can be made into an effective unit. If Dragan does stay he needs to have a complete clear out of his staff. Interesting that Adam Blackmore speculated about the possible negative influence of Ankersson?
