C’mon Whitey. I know you’ve had a thoroughly crappy time this last year or so, but remember, “non illegitimus carborundum”! It’s our club not the presiding bunch of egotistical, narcissistic rogues and chancers. They come and go.

I don’t think either are e as bad as some would have it, and if we set up conventionally, as we did against Liverpool, we are likely to create opportunities for them, in my opinion.

I haven’t, it would be nice to end the season regaining a bit of form. I wouldn’t want to continue on this trajectory into next season.

Those of you dropping Manning, he was one of our best players at Liverpool, he has done ok most of this season. He may have his limitations, but he’s a 100% player, and we are very short of those in our squad. Not that I don’t like Welington, but it doesn’t seem right to chop out players after good performances, although it seems we have a propensity for doing that.

If we set up as we did against Liverpool we have a very good chance. I wouldn’t start Smallbone or Dibbling, I’d bring In Aribo and Archer or Paul to give us a bit more up front.

In recent weeks he has been rushed back from injury, over used and totally mismanaged, in my opinion. Given the above and also being part of a shell shocked team of whipping boys who largely have one foot out of the door, (mentally at least), isn’t doing him any good either.

It’s not just Liverpool, “poor me” (us in this case), isn’t a position I normally would take, but we have been shafted in a number of games this season. Who knows, had we got a few of the decisions that should have gone our way we may still be in the mix. Confidence is a huge factor, had we still been in touch in the January transfer window SR may have been tempted to splash the cash. I’m not saying we would have stayed up but we’d probably have given it a much better go, which is all most of us were asking for.
