Funny thing is, when I saw him at Chelsea he reminded me a lot of Peter Crouch.
-
Not sure why people are so down on tall Paul. He's had limited opportunities He's had zero service when he has played He hasn't been tried up front in a pair with Che So, on that basis, my jury is still out. If the criticism is he doesn't fit our crappy narrow system, that's a different discussion, and he can't be blamed for that.

It gets "truer every time" we play a game and drop points.
-
True, not only are 3 points essential we need to pull / keep our relegation rivals down in the mix. WHU have played 2 games less than us which makes it even more important.
-
It makes sense to me, the PL have to be transparent, it's a greater risk to them to be caught covering things up than it is to hit Everton with the proverbial "wet lettuce leaf". Which is what will happen as Everton seem to be one of the favoured clubs.
-
Oh shit balls from hell. We’ve played more games than everyone else down there. Can’t we just declare our surrender now, a release from this torture?
-
That’s the nuts and bolts of it, all this very clever dickie stuff is so infuriating

Ja, du hast verstsnden! Das Spielbuch hat immer recht’

It’s the result of that god- forsaken playbook.

Spurs to get 2 sent off.
-
I see us winning this one, or at least not losing. Spurs are flaky and we are better against better sides.
-
Sounds very painful.

Not saying your wrong, but that hadn’t occurred to me. My first thought was how Wreckit Ralph strangled the life out of our creative players and that left me wondering what Redmond (I was one of his greatest critics) would be like under the more expansive style of Selles.

What is Steve Highway thinking?

Not only will we win tomorrow, it will be such a huge margin we’ll end up with a positive goal difference
-
I haven't applied any science to it, just gut feeling. I don't see us getting anything against WHU or Forest, they both have the capability to bully us. Spurs are flakey, and we tend to do well against good but flakey sides. Who knows? I am buoyed by the 2 wins in 3, but we massively rode our luck in both of those games, yes we need some luck, but we still have very little attacking potency, and, as I said above, its losing to the dross around us that will be very difficult to overcome.

Points 0 - Man U A 1 - Brentford H 3- Spurs H 0 - WHU A 0 - City H 3 - Palace H 0 - Arse A 3 - Bournemouth H 0 - Newcastle A 0 - Forest A 1 - Fulham H (unless on the beach) 0 - Brighton Away (unless on the beach) 0 - Liverpool H = 32 points total unless we have a couple of shocks wins, (think I've already factored in a couple of generous results), or pick up points against "on the beach" sides, which I recall happening in the great escape seasons(s)

I keep thinking about Forest and Wolves at home and Leeds away, all six pointers at the time, should have got something out of each of those, which would have dramatically changed the bottom of the table. The one that makes me most angry is Wolves, that was 100% on Jones.
-
Win today, and we might, things could change dramatically, whilst we can’t get out of the bottom three, Bournemouth, Leeds* and Everton all have tough games and could all get sucked right back in. *Chelsea are going to spank someone at some point

Unfortunately there is zero end product, he can turn a couple of defenders inside out an then knocks it back into midfield. I wonder if it’s confidence or lack of acceleration once he has beaten his man?
-
xC in this instance, however, I can confirm results are now in and the original hypothesis has been proven correct
-
E unless C includes reptilian shapeshifters, in which case E and C

Interesting point you make, I’ll run an algorithm on it and come back to you, but early indications are your theory may have substance
-
I think we’ll win.
