  1. At least we might win a game.
  2. I disagree. There is no doubt that that hasn’t helped, but Bazunu doesn’t ever save anything, if we had Forster for example there this season, he’d have made the odd save that he shouldn’t, look at how many games we’ve lost by 1 goal. I think a more solid experienced keeper would have improved our defence too. Unfortunately Bazunu has been a disaster for us this season,
  3. Yup. We wanted him, he didn’t want to come. Fair enough,
  4. Awful, but how Bednarek has made himself that small stood in front of him I’ve no idea. Still absolutely awful from Bazunu though.
  5. Gareth Southgate
  6. This video is a half decent watch to give you some background, I'm assuming you're planning on producing something similar without the match at the end...
  7. Anyone know of any tickets going ?
  8. Would guess tomorrow morning as not heard anything....though surely they'll be travelling up tomorrow...
  9. Same starting XI for me. only argument would be KWP in for AMN, and possibly Salisu in for Bednarek, Bednarek did well last week though… Assuming we stick with 4222, and I see no reason why not, then Armstrong and Elyounoussi the best options in the 10s.
  10. From what I've been told moving forward, I'd expect Elyounoussi, Walcott and S Armstrong to play as the 10s in a 4222 system. They know all the triggers and pressing in that system. Once Edozie, Orisic etc learn to play the system & learn the pressing triggers then we will see more of them in a few weeks. The others are just more reliable atm in a 4222. Was no surprise to see us go back to the playbooks 4222 last weekend, and would expect more of it.
  11. I think it gets moved back to the Saturday, due to them playing on the following Tuesday. Not 100% sure though. It's an absolute shambles really. 4 games have been moved, and 3 of them might get moved again.
  12. And city game might get moved back to Sat 8th…
  13. That was because they’d had a bust up the day before the palace game, and Jones agreed to do what the players and Selles wanted and went to a back 4 for those 3 games. This was the first win in the league. Jones listened…and the players thought they’d turned a corner.
  14. Might be more of them than us at this rate...
  15. Might as well just keep Moyes, he's just as negative. I have a lot of mates who support West Ham, and they're all complaining about playing 3 at the back with 2 holding midfielders. Sounded familiar...!
  16. My gut feeling is that Adams, Salisu and KWP will all leave regardless this summer, given their contract situations unless they sign a new one.
  17. It was Henrik who said there is a gap in quality between 18-22, which is why they brought in Bazunu, Lavia, Edozie.
  18. That was a great weekend! Happy retirement!
  19. I don't think it's black and white enough to just say, he doesn't score or assist enough so he shouldn't be playing. Especially away from home.
  20. Personally I don't think this is a game we go all out to win from the start tbh. If we lose we're all but gone probably. If we can keep it tight for an hour and try and nick a goal from a set piece or a bit of good play then happy days. Although I agree we do need to win this game, I woudn't go as far as saying it's a "must win". I've got no problem with us going with a 4-2-2-2 and Elyounoussi is playing as one of the "10's". I probably wouldn't have him as one of the front 3 though in a 4-3-3. And looks like we'll go 4-2-2-2 now.
  21. Put this on the Leeds thread, but probably should be here really... We can't just rely on the below home fixtures now IMO. We probably need roughly 22 points, maybe 20 depending on how many we'll need to stay up. My gut feeling is it'll be relatively high this season. Lets assume the ones I've highlighted we get 0 points...we need say 6 wins and a 4 draws from remaining 15 games. It's going to be incredibly tough to stay up from here without beating the teams around us. Home Games Leicester Brentford Spurs City - 0 Palace Bournemouth Fulham Liverpool - 0 Away Games Leeds Man Utd - 0 West Ham Arsenal - 0 Newcastle - 0 Forest Brighton We need to beat Leeds and Leicester IMO.
  22. Problem is, we've already thrown away so many points at home, including losing to Forest, Wolves, Everton, Villa, and not beating West Ham or Leeds. We now need to win home games, and take points off teams around us away. We can't just rely on the below home fixtures now IMO. 23. I think we're now in a position where draws against relegation rivals aren't really enough. If we can nick a win on Saturday it puts us completely back in it. Of course a draw wouldn't be the end of the world, but we can't expect to go to places like Stamford Bridge and win, and then lose against the likes of Wolves, Leeds, West Ham, Everton, Forest, Bournemouth etc
  24. Who did? Most could see how difficult that role is under Ralph, and Hojbjerg was a very decent player for us. His passing was frustrating though, which he's definitely improved at Spurs.
