Who is the "1"?

Bit of an odd one what happened with him last season, in the squad for the first time (i think), starts, plays well, gets injured, then doesn't get in the squad again.... Think he'll turn into a decent player but don't see a route for him at the moment...

He's a brilliant LB. Full backs are so important in the modern game, and it hurt us when we were playing Targett/Yoshida/Martina as full backs, they don't offer enough going forward.

Basingstoke and always keep an eye out for Bournemouth, not as difficult these days.

Yeah I've been to all those Carling Cup games too, all very enjoyable apart from that one!!

Pelle the player of the season so far for me. Been brilliant.

Good, as is the other Juanmi song. However big useless if he barely plays. Decent song for Mane needs sorting first, rather than Gastons song.

Tbf he wasn't at the club last season, apart from the first few games where he came on and looked decent. Poch didn't fancy him and he didn't fit the Poch way of playing. I'm interested to see how he can get on with Keomans style, as he was decent under Adkins

You dont get the space we had last night in the Prem....the amount of times Juanmi/Mane/JRod/Davis/Gaston all got the ball in the no10 position turned without being challenged and we able to pick a pass through the gaps between the CB's or the CB's and FB's. Great to watch though, but Pelle has started this season on fire.

He was impressive when he came on, and a decent option for us. He's had a good few years in the prem now, so he's used to playing at this level. Just hope he has the willingness and desire to prove himself and get back into the matchday squads on a regular basis. Would be a real shame to lose him for nothing.

Anyone know anywhere good to park/drink? New ground for me...?

Would quite like to see JWP in his best position too actually - good shout.

Pretty sure they'd recognise the full revenue of player sales straight away, however we would recognise the cost of a signing over the contract length, i.e. 4 year contract, cost of player/48 months. Not sure what happens when we would recognise the revenue of the player sale if it's based on performance based bonuses - I would guess we would recognise the full revenue of the initial payment from Man Utd, then the following parts when the bpnus criteria are met.

Absolutely this Cedric Fonte VVD Targett need as much time together as possible. Would expect Caulker to come in though.

Martina is absolutely shocking, do not understand the whole deal with Cedric. I would guess he's not good enough defensively so we went with the more steady Yoshida...however if he's not a better RB than Yoshida then what's the point in buying him?! Full backs are such an important part of the modern game, and ours at the moment would struggle to get In a championship side. Unsure of the other signings, hopefully Clasie is decent, but I'm not hugely sure we need him. We should have signed a proper RB and some assistance for Pelle who is good enough to get on the pitch. I look forward to seeing a few of the youth on Wednesday an the fringe players. Juanmi looks promising from the little I've seen of him.

He's fantastic, surprised how many Saints fans dont seem to rate him. Brilliant player for us, and we arguably would have gone down if he hadn't replaced Davis/JWP in DM in our first season back. He's better than Mason, arguably better than Shelvey, a better DM than Wilshere too IMO.
