Im guessing he's not talking about transfer fee....isn't he on about £90k/week at QPR?! He'll wait til the summer and then take a payrise and a big signing on fee probably....

Worst starting 11 so far according to Who Scored

When did I say that? Koeman clearly plays him there because he thinks he'll do a better job than Cedric, which is hardly surprising as he gets shoved off the ball and is usually hopelessly out of position. -

If you think it's that simple then I'd be surprised, especially at that level. -
Koeman said he was too expensive at the evening I went to the other week.

Poor bloke, stuck out of position, with Mane in front of him giving him b*gger all protection.... I do feel for him, he's absolutely fine as a third choice CB at the level we are at. -
Last few years I'd say no...this year, I'd say yes. We need some more attacking threat, he has a bit of pace, and he shouldn't be too expensive either, and can take a shot from outside of the box, which is a rarity in our side.

Can't see anything but a loss sadly....we're crap, and they're good.

Problem is, I'm not sure we've actually played well once at SMS this year...not for 90 minutes anyway.

Saints to help finance post-Xmas away games
Saint Garrett replied to the colonel's topic in The Saints
Yeah, agree - West Ham are racking up the injuries too, so we should have a decent chance of getting a result. Missing Valencia, Sakho, Payet, Lanzini, Reid and Moses... -
Worst comedian I've ever seen by a mile.

Basically said that if we are to bring in anyone it will be a striker - when asked about Austin he said "too expensive" - maybe slightly tongue in cheek though!

A top evening..... 1st priority......bringing in a striker

Anyone else going? Going for my dads birthday - should be a good evening - shame he might be a bit miserable !

Stek; Cedric Fonte VVD Bertrand; Romeu JWP Davis; Mane Pelle Juanmi
-
Stek, Cedric Fonte VVD Bertrand; Wanyama JWP Davis; Tadic Pelle Mane Go and redeem yourselves with the skipper back in the side. Maybe we play a diamond with Mane up top with Pelle with Tadic in behind centrally - width coming from the full backs...? Want to see Juanmi and Gaston on the bench and brought on if we're struggling to break them down. We need to get back on track after conceding 9 in 2 games.

He's not awful, he's not great. He doesn't make clangers, nor does he make saves which he shouldn't.

Few points from me: 1) Long ball, long ball long ball. 2) Caulker is a pub team player, truly dreadful 3) We don't close down the opposition at all, just let them pick their passes 4) We are so slow going forward 5) We have no impact off the bench whatsoever Very very disappointing all around last night.

Thought it was the best it's been for ages tonight...

Who is this bloke?
-
Massive game - I hope the fans are well up for this - should, theoretically, be a cracking atmosphere.

I think hes a good player when played in the middle of midfield alongside Wanyama in a game we should be controlling. He knocks the ball around perfectly fine, offers us something that we dont have when he's not on the pitch, and that's a decent delivery. However against the bigger teams, or when he needs to actually create something in the no10 position, he doesn't have the ability to create something out of nothing which is why hes struggling IMO. Also think he is fine playing RM with a RB (Cedric) who likes to run past and bomb on, we are too limited if he plays right with Yoshi in behind.

They're a bigger club, playing in Europe with a bigger fan base, and a huge new stadium in the pipeline. Also the added touch of living in London.
