No reason to not play Davis out on the right and Mane down the middle if we want - Davis is more than capable of playing there, he did under Poch.

Apologies - badly worded on my part... His overall performance looked like a player who didn't want to be here, didn't track his man multiple times, didn't press when the others were up top, he only came alive when he had the ball. I've seen him putting in a much better shift than last night, not sure what his running stats were in the game. His mind didn't look focused either, he would have buried the majority of those chances he had last night last season. If he was fully focused he would have scored IMO.

Mane couldn't finish anything last night - looked like he didnt want to be here to me.

You'd expect so - certainly a good option and fits the Holland obsession...

I was thinking about this the other day, and couldn't pick out one player who has done particularly well consistently. It's either Van Dijk (who I don't think has been that great) or Davis (who for a creative player doesn't score or assist) Tough one - the award is there for the taking in the second half of the season.

TBF though, this is the sort of player we should be going for, doesn't break the bank in wages either. It's a missed opportunity.

Not convinced - not sure we have it in us to keep clean sheets and win to 0 this season. They're also very dangerous up top with Deeney and Ighalo. Should be a good game, they're a very good side this year.

Certrainly be an odd one, he's barely good enough to be a fourth choice CB for a team who's conceding goals, the bloke is absolutely terrible.

He's not been that great - one of our best signings this summer but that doesn't say a lot. Wins a lot in the air, but has also got a mistake in him, nowhere near as good as Toby IMO.

Even if Swans didn't want Shelvey, If i supported them, I'd be ****ed off selling him to Newcastle who are a direct relegation rival, and he could win them a game. On his day he's a decent player, but tries the hollywood pass far too much.

Makes no impact, lets say the club made an extra £1m from gates....it's not going to pay for any player to come here...! The club gets enough from other revenue streams.
