Indeed, the DM position is the most important in football the way teams play now, stopping the opposition from creating anything, stopping the counter attacks, and sitting into defence. We had Morgan and Vic and even to a certain extent JWP & Davis to do it last season, if the full back went, one of them would sit, and we'd also have the wide players going back towards our own goal. We were too gungho on Sunday, and therefore had no cover, the defence and Vic were pulled all over the place. We need to start with 3 in CM IMO like we have done for the last 2 years, the only problem with that is that it means Mane has to play wide, or we play with very little width.

He's injured til December I believe - its why Whammers haven't signed him.

CB, DM needed for Arsenal, not understood all this crap about signing Cech will make them title contenders. They need a proper CB alongside Koscielny, and then a proper DM who will shield the back four, they missed out not going for Morgan. Stoke/Liverpool very balanced so far. Stoke fans are in the standard mood for them of having a go at the ref at every opportunity whether its correct or not.

Mane misses two sitters in injury time, would have been harsh on Newcastle, but should have won it.

Slightly worried about Davis in there on his own. We played with 3 CM's last season, and we've lost our best one and lost one for an attacking player. This could end up 5-4. Big job for Davis today, he's more than capable.
