Exactly this. It was put in place to promote clubs bringing through young players, it's just pushed demand and therefore prices up for very average home grown players, and they rarely play, ala Rodwell, Sinclair etc.

Got no problem with him wanting to be ambitious, and play in the champions league, especially with the Euros In his own country coming up.....if he just goes to Spurs, then he can f*ck himself. Sideways move, to that **** club with ****. fans. Can't stand them. So yes I only respect him because he's currently a Saint.

Schweinsteiger normally plays in the holding 2 these days, and he's bloody brilliant at it. Hopefully United will sign him. Think the problem is, Morgan isn't a big enough name to go and spend £25m on when they can get world class, with a lot bigger pedigree for a similar fee. Just hope that if it's going to happen, it happens sooner rather than later.
