Thought Wood was our best defender. Mugabi is an odd one, had some brilliant runs going forward but looked dodgy defending. I thought the whole back four really struggled in the air. I lost count of how many times McCarthy misread the flight and his defensive header didn't go where it was supposed to. They're not going to be amazing, they're all still learning, but promising all the same.

Just got back, Hesketh very impressive, thought Gallagher was poor until he want up top. Gazza looked very accomplished, thought our back four looked very dodgy especially McCarthy who I thought was poor,, but a really decent team performance and thoroughly enjoyable evening. Although it's not no 1 target of the youth teams to win trophies, it's always nice

Surely City? Unless they hold off for Guardiola
-
I did notice it says Away Supporters on the website. I assumed that this was actually just home and they cannot change the wording.
-
Who is going then? Heard we've sold about 8,000 tickets so far, pretty good effort. No got mine yet, I'm assuming we can just pay on the gate?

Would cost too much money I think, and hasn't been great the second half of the season. Think he's on about £120k/week at the moment.

Was out with his cousin a few weeks ago, mentioned we were looking for a new keeper and he would be a decent backup option! He's not renewing his contract with Man Utd. He was told he'd be Man Utd's second choice keeper at the start of the season, then he barely got on the bench. Will try and ask him if he's heard anything...

With this amount of clubs looking at him and him being as good as he is, we should be looking for around £30m, not £15m. Unless there was some kind of agreement put in place last year to get him to get his head down this year and stay with us. We'll see.....would be hugely disappointing if he went for circa £15m and a ridiculously good deal for whoever gets him. In that position, he's better than.... - Fabregas - Fernandinho - Fernando - Yaya Toure - Coquelin - Arteta - Ramsey - Carrick - Herrera - Lucas - Henderson - Gerrard - Allen - Paulinho - Stambouli - Bentaleb - Mason For me the only one who is better than him in that position is probably Matic, and even he hasn't been particularly great for the last few months.

So first car I drove was the Lamborghini Gallardo. Was very good, pretty quick, was asked to slow a little before I knew the track! That was really nice though. Second was the Ferrari 360, think it was quite an old model, had done a fair few miles, but really nice drive but nowhere near as quick. Then came the Atom....that thing has some acceleration. The guy who I went with was a lot cooler than the others too, and was very keen for me to put my foot down and appreciate it. I buckled and paid an additional £45 for a passenger ride in the Atom, but it was worth every penny, I genuinely thought my head was going to detach from my body the G force was so strong! Cheers for all advice, all in all a brilliant day.

Sounds like the one I am doing tomorrow. I will let you know how it goes. I have done a little digging on the internet & YouTube and it all look a bit tame, no-one seems to go over about 70mph! Still - should be good, think I might pay to get to go round with someone else.

Rodriguez has returned - BREAKING: NEW CONTRACT SIGNED
Saint Garrett replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Ha as soon as the fixtures were announced, I mentioned in jest that JRod's return would probably be back at the Etihad to score the winner for us to go on and win the league.... Well....close -
Could see Klopp going there. They'd pay him wedge, gets to live in London, they'd let him bring in players on huge wages, he gets to take them into the Olympic stadium...(where potentially you might see a Man City esque takeover happen) Got to be a way better chance of that happening than him coming here!
-
Very odd that he's at lower odds to be our manager than West Ham and Newcastle who are clearly looking for a new one!
-
Will keep that in mind - cheers! Thin all Lambo's are 4WD. Sure they'll give me a few tips once I'm there too! I want to go and do it all day and just do loads of laps - no chance lol
-
Cheers all, I absolutely cannot wait. Have never done anything like this before, so a tad nervous too. My point is I think it'll be over so quick I won't make the most of it, but cheers for all your advice. Doing it at Dunsfold, will make sure I get there early. I'm assuming you have to pay the additonal to get taken round by the instructor? Would be really keen to really appreciate how powerful these cars are, and no, I've not driven a RWD before, so it will be a hell of an experience.

I am doing my first track day on Friday with RedLetterDays, get to drive a Ferrari 430, a Lamborghini Gallardo and an Ariel Atom. Just wondering whether anyone else has done one before, and have any advice? Obviously you don't get THAT long in each car so want to make sure that I'm ready to make the most of it. Cheers

Anyone seen what Jermaine Wright does these days. Check out his Twitter. Do they see, good value? http://www.amcprestigecars.co.uk/ @amc_cars_jamma

Seems to me that he is very good in a two up top, or when he is plaiyng as a second striker, but really struggles when stuck out wide. That Sheff Utd away game still sticks in my mind.....(Along with Chelsea away) and he looked like a pub footballer than night. Chelsea (arguably x 2) was absolutely brilliant through the middle ?
-
Dint get to go today unfortunately but apparently he had another good game. Is there an awful lot of difference between hm and Forster...???? Do oher teams hear Forsters reputation and think they're not going to score so don't shoot, but when Kelvin is in goal then think "lets have a pop"...im sure some of it is in the mind..... Anyway...good on you Kelv.

Toby will play RB in my opinion. 4-3-3 with Mane and Long either side of Pelle.

Steve Bruce is always wax lyrical about us !

I have Rory to win, Rose, Speith, And D Johnson E/W Love the Masters

Davis Clyne Fonte Toby Bertrand Morgan Davis JWP Tadic Pelle Mane

Think we were rocked in that first half by Forster's injury too, we were all over the place. Wouldn't be surprised to see a middle three of Davis Morgan and JWP. I'd be tempted to start JWP in that no 10 role for the rest of the season, let him develop and get a run of games.
