We need atleast one other player who can play at full back. Last year we scraped through with 3 players who can play at full back, we currently have 2, one of which has never played a competitive game for us - Clyne and Targett. I'd say we need atleast a left back, and then probably someone else who can play RB. What happens if Clne get injured for 3 months?! Cork? This is the premier league, and the youth players are not always going to turn out the standard of Chambers, Shaw, Bale etc. At AM we currently have Gaston, Davis, and Tadic. Cover we have......JWP? Isgrove? thats not particularly very strong is it.

So befoer the transfer window closes - we need: GK, RB CB CB LB, AM, AM, ST Plus potentially a CM and another ST if Morgan and JRod leave..... Thats not a small job.

And that Cork is better than Henderson?

The whole board have made a huge mess of this club since they've come in. No idea what they do on a day to day basis. But atleast they're being open and honest with the fans and brought stripes back....

Which is weird isn't it when that's not the case. You can buy talent but you can't buy the unity, and the team spirit which had done us so well. When does it stop? Can't see Morgan and JRod being too impressed with this...

Shaw yes. Lallana yes, Rickie I can just about let him leave for Liverpool. But all of them at the same time??? Squad players? Other key players?? When has a club ever sold 6/7 of their best players?!? Even if we replace the with quality, it still takes time to become a TEAM. I love my club, absolutely love it. But right now, what's happening is unacceptable.

I can understand selling 1/2 of our best players, but 6/7? We need to sort it out and very quickly, or the only way we're going is downwards.

Bearing Bompey in a meaningless pre season game is a but different to playing in the prem every week. The prem is a relentless league and we are not good enough to deal with it.

Topic says it all. Embarrassed to support us at the moment, we're a laughing stock. Lambert Lallana Shaw Lovren Chambers Morgan? Fonte? Clyne? JRod? I would have thought the "NO MORE" line would have been drawn a while ago but this is a complete joke. Not impressed

Wanyama was excellent at WBA in the first game, then had a few dodgy games.

Thats still a decent side and that is without Cork. However you take Lovren out and it looks a hell of a lot more shaky.

Ashton was a better player by a long way.

I genuinely don't think he'd struggle in the Barca/Real team. Is he "world class" no, but all I said is that he wouldn't look out of place.

He is an incredible footballer. When he doesn't play we miss him massively. He could play for any team in the world and wouldn't struggle at all. Should sell at our terms (£25m+) or not at all.

They're definitely a low transfer fee, high wages kind of club though aren't they. Bit like West Ham. Once the average wage is at a certain level, players will generally ask for more money than they should be worth, and the club are more likely to say yes.

Would definitely take Rojo. Looks decent. Need another CB and 2 if/when Lovren leaves. Forster would be a good signing. Still need another AM and ST on top of that I would think. Not keen on going into the new season with Isgrove and Gallagher first choice backups....
