8. Has been a superb season to be a fan of the club.
If you're asked whats the 'ideal' way to have a football club run...it's self sustaining, local lads, playing exciting football and winning games.
We're not far off that. A bit deeper squad and a better push for the cup and don't think it's realistic for us to have done any more this season.
Morgan and Reed both out.
Running out of players! Already know Poch doesn't like playing Cork and Wanyama together - might have to! Can't see us scoring with a midfield of Cork, Wanyama, Davis, Lallana, JWP.
Is Gaston fit?
You're an absolute moron. Fox and Hooiveld played the majority of the season and we got promoted. That's a pretty key part. How many assists did Fox get that season, and Jos got a few goals.
What more would you ask for from our promotion team?
I guess the argument is, do you pick the players with the biggest reputations who have been playing for England for years and failed, or do you give the younger lads a chance to go and get some big tournament experience so they're ready to put up a good fight at the next euros and world cup potentially giving us the opportunity to be better in the long term.
I know where I would rather see us put our hopes.
I think he could....but I would be concerned that he would come as a bit of a 'big time charlie' and would be on a different level of wages compared to the rest of the playing squad.
We already have 2 right backs, and he's not good enough positionally to play in the middle. Would also likely cost upwards of £60k/week. Not the kind of player I'm bothered about personally.
I like him. He's a good player. However I don't see where he would play. He'd probably play out wide for us but is a poacher, so not sure it would work. Could he play up top on his own, I'm not so sure.
I just don't see us buying players from teams around us, they'd cost too much and we like to develop our own players into the prem culture, rather than being a gob****e from another club.
