Don't think it's ideal having any important member of staff with just a year left on his contract.
-
Have to agree. Don't see where his role fits, but willing to give him a chance.
-
For all those that are saying anyone could do what he did...would you rather Cortese was still there or Krueger? Personally Cortese for me,
-
He did an outstanding job for us. No doubt about that. Could others have done a similar job? Don't know, maybe? But they didn't did they. He did do it and we should be very thankful to him. Could have worked out far worse. Loads of teams have had money and gone nowhere. Look at QPR.

The board have to decide the direction of the club over the next few years...dare I say it put another "5 year plan" in place. If that is in line with what Pochettino wants to achieve, then he will sign. As log as this is ambitious i'm confident our players will stay, unless a ridiculous offer comes in.

Where do we strengthen to take us to the 'next level'?
Saint Garrett replied to Daft Kerplunk's topic in The Saints
Would be tempted to go in for Hughes at Derby and possibly Paterson from Forest. GK; CB; AM; ST we could all improve on, but i'd take just not losing anyone this summer. -
Well he's not in control of the twitter feed!!

Actually thought the black and silver badge looked a lot more professional for the website/social networking/tickets etc. But would have but would have the stripes back next season as long as they're not tacky looking. Keegan era for me.

You'd expect so. AAP3 can't be giving us much money currently, we're now a top ten established club in the prem, we should be looking to maximise revenue through these sponsors.

One win against top 10 sides ALL SEASON

What about your other logins and when you used to be Bournemouth Saint? -
Same as what always happens. We take it over sing OWTS and then they shut up. Was silent there last season anyway. We outsung them all game.
-
At the end of the day, it's in our own hands to go above them. Beat Everton, Man Utd and Newcastle, and we should go above atleast one of them. However, on the flip side, fail to beat them, and we will finish way behind all of them.

Oh my god we're having such an awful season, the club need to sort it out or I'm off to support Pompey. Lets be honest, comfortably top half all season is a pretty poor season, we should be top FFS. -
Pathetic really. Can't remember the last time we didn't sell out a London away.

Lambert, Rodriguez or Carroll?
Saint Garrett replied to Ivan Katalinic's 'tache's topic in The Saints
Rickie. I'd only take Rodriguez if Welbeck gets injured or we need another wide man. I guess it comes down to whether we want to play inside forwards or wingers like Lennon/Townsend. Carroll is an awful footballer who causes problems. Depends what we're taking him for if it's either him it Lambert. -
Will certainly be a tough game when they come to SMS.
-
It was Davis who caught Lovren was it not?
-
Chelsea and Liverpool were excellent. City were poor, spurs were a bit lucky. Arsenal we should have beaten. Rest still to play against. Fulham and Norwich by far the worst.
-
They still have good players and will do damage, but they have a poor manager and not doing particularly well at the moment. Great time to play them. Hoping for a nice sunny day out in london, just a shame it's Sunday lunchtime !
-
He always responds well when he starts on the bench. Great finish and looked better all round today.
-
Great first 10 minutes. No idea what's happened with the rest of the half. Feel they'll catch us dicking about with it at the back
-
Tettey in midfield for them today. Thought he was missing? Can't let him boss the midfield with his strength. Would have started Rickie personally.
-
Think I'd start with JWP, Boruc; Clyne Fonte Lovren Shaw; JWP Morgan; Davis JRod Lallana; Lambert. 4-0. Get in front and think we'll get a few today. COYS!!
