  1. Thought Hull would win that one. Newcastle look to have their mojo back.
  2. QPR drew at home to Leeds.
  3. Would think he would do.
  4. Shame Leeds didn't put that pen away and nicked a win. Would love it if they didn't go up. Be interesting to see what happens with their finances cos I'm sure their squad probably earn more than ours!
  5. Beharinho isn't even playing much though is he? I like the look of him, but if he cant get in West Broms side, then why would he be going to Brazil?
  6. Wanyama was great up there from what I remember. Hes great at tackling and stopped the oppos momentum, breaking up play etc, but shocking at passing. If he was in the form he was in at the start of the season, he plays, but he's not he's been shocking. Cork to start for me.
  7. I have to say I'd be tempted to take either Cork or Noble. We really need a player who can tackle.
  8. He's not awful....but hes not particularly deserving of his place in the squad.
  9. 1 good game.....thsi is what happened to Cleverley. He had a good game in the Charity Shield a few years ago, and now he's a regular squad member. Should have to earn your spot, not do awfully to get out of it.
  10. Its been reported its a record - we've never had 4 players in the same England squad until today.
  11. Bold players surely wont actually go? Goalkeepers: Fraser Forster, Ben Foster, Joe Hart, John Ruddy; Defenders: Leighton Baines, Gary Cahill, Steven Caulker, Ashley Cole, Glen Johnson, Luke Shaw, Chris Smalling, Kyle Walker; Midfielders: Ross Barkley, Michael Carrick, Tom Cleverley, Steven Gerrard, Jordan Henderson, Adam Lallana, Frank Lampard, James Milner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Raheem Sterling, Andros Townsend, Jack Wilshere; Forwards: Jermain Defoe, Rickie Lambert, Jay Rodriguez, Wayne Rooney, Daniel Sturridge, Daniel Welbeck. Jagielka and Jones in for Smalling and one of midfielders. Would be surprised if JRod goes to the WC too.
  12. Do they do anything apart from solid blocks for 2015? I was looking forward to us moving to Adidas but the kits crap this year and looks to be the same next year. Let's just hope its not a generic kit...?
  13. Liverpool have atleast 5.....Johnson, Gerrard, Henderson, Sterling, Sturridge? It is a huge squad for 1 friendly!! 4 keepers...whats the point? Big question marks over Smalling, Cleverley, Defoe and Townsend for me....not sure how they've made the cut.
  14. Agree that Carrick is overhyped. Flat track bully if there ever was one.
  15. Lallana and Shaw will be in. Possibly J-Rod and Lambert. Says a lot when an out of form 32 year old is still in a good chance of getting in the England squad!
  16. Sorry, of course I would take Rooney.
  17. It's a very good opportunity for Hodgson to not pick a load of Man Utd reserves in this squad. If we had a bit longer until the world cup then he might even not take many to the WC. But what normally happens is we take a load of players on reputation, and then a couple on form. Still think the majority of Man Utd English players will go. Rooney, Carrick, Cleverley, Smalling and Jones will probably all be on the place to Brazil. No idea how.
  18. Southampton FC ‏@SouthamptonFC 50s GOAL! #SaintsFC’s Josh Sims puts #EnglandU17s ahead against Holland in the Algarve Tournament. Well done, Josh! I like the sound of this kid from the little I've heard about him.
  19. Has The9 left this site? Shame that.
  20. Cork is definitely better than Cleverley. That's not difficult though.
  21. Absolutely no idea why, but I hated this kit. Just looked so incredibly tacky IMO. Crap quality, horrible black bits, and the big white cross in the middle. Awful IMO.
  22. Both were class last year. Upper has the far better view. Swayed it for me.
  23. Yeah stripes of some sort I think will return. Would like that back as well.
