I want him to stay, cos I like continuity and he's clearly a good manager. (Don't really see how people can say they want him to leave?) our team is good, but the project is bigger than the first 11. I've got no problem with us just playing in the prem, bringing through good young players, and playing the right way. It's been a great season this season, but something has gone. No urgency at the moment and we're not converting chances. But just enjoy the rest of the season.

If he starts you have to rest Lallana? Davis is integral to our system, especially against the better teams in the division. We need Rodriguez's pace. Unless you play JRod up top and Gaston in behind and drop Lambert.
-
Think Wanyama will be better suited to this one. Boruc; Clyne Fonte Lovren Shaw; Morgan Wanyama; Davis Lallana JRod; Gallagher. Rickie looks leggy and off the pace, and Gallagher was impressive vs Arsenal. Clyne in there to combat Sterlings pace.

Don't bother going to any pubs by the ground, they're all sh1te. 3-2? 0-1 for me.

Big fan of the smiths ! Good lad

Isn't Cole also injured?!
-
Fulham, Cardiff, Norwich.
-
We don't have anyone else? If he can play, he will. If not either Gallagher or McQueen will.
-
Courtoius is already world class and better than Cech IMO. Think he'll be Chelsea's no 1 next year.
-
Few of their fans seem to think Cole and Boriello will be out injured. With Carroll missing as well and Maiga out on loan, it'll be Chicken Boy or Diame up top in a 4-6-0. We really should be beating sides with these problems.
-
Reckon Lovren will start with Gaston on the bench. Boruc; Chambers Fonte Lovren Shaw; Cork Morgan; JRod Lallana Davis; Lambert Davis; Clyne Yoshi; JWP Gaston Wanyama; Gallagher

I don't think they will all go, no. I think we could be fending off offers, it completely depends on whats happening at board and manager level in my opinion. If the club is still as driven as it was under Cortese, then I see no reason for anyone to leave. I'm also not so blinkered that I think they all want to stay here for the rest of their careers. Shaw will probably go to Chelsea, and I'm sure there will be interest in others, but have you ever seen a club sell their 4 best players in one summer? Especially if not financially striken!

Oh wow....CRINGE....
-
So all our best players will leave? Right....
-
Well within reason. I'm hoping for Messi and Ronaldo but that's not going to happen.
-
Only you could think we can still get relegated!

Now the season is petering out, what are you hoping for? This is our current first XI squad (excluding those out on loan). Fringe youth players in brackets. GK: Boruc, Davis, Gazza RB: Clyne, Chambers LB: Shaw, (Targett) CB: Lovren, Fonte, Yoshida, Hooiveld (Turnbull) CM: Morgan, Cork, Wanyama, (Reed) AM: Lallana, JRod, Davis, Gaston, JWP, Guly, (Rowe, Isgrove) ST: Lambert, (Gallagher, McQueen) This leaves us with 16 senior outfield players Davis to go to GK Coach, bring in another Keeper IMO. A top CB would be nice, sell Osvaldo and bring in another top striker. Another AM to play in the '3', possibly 2. Let Hooiveld, Guly, Isgrove all go. I see we were linked with Barca youngster (yes I know it's clubcall) today. and Sergio Garcia. (Not the golfer Dubai_Phil!) http://www.clubcall.com/southampton/saints-eye-loan-for-barca-teen-1713358.html http://www.footballdirectnews.com/southampton-fc-transfer-news/40940-southampton-join-race-to-sign-sergio-garcia.php#.UwSVIIWPR6U

Luke Shaw apologised. Will be interesting to hear whats said in the presser this week.

Yeah, I just noticed that there was no booking fee. Happened with WBA away at the start of the season too.
-
Tbh, I don't see what the club can do to make it any fairer? Apart from maybe award a few more "points" for say Hull Away as it's not glamorous and on a Tuesday night, but then they'll have to be too many variables.

Noble is a good player. Think Cork is better though. Similar kind of player.
-
Think he's better playing in midfield but it leaves us with no focal point. Anyway....
-
Let's hope he "does an Everton" and is ridiculously bias towards us cos we moaned about him. He's a seriously bad ref though
