All comes down to injuries really doesnt it. Having to play Davis and Gazza and Fox and Hooiveld against the best sides in the league is asking for trouble.

Perhaps a vote mods? Personally think Chambers has passed Clyne this season but it's very close ! Chambers just seems to be the complete full back for me. Just needs to improve his crossing a bit more.

Definitely shouldnt be allowed to loan players in the same division IMO. Ban all loans to the same league or above, and if they have to go on loan, they have to drop a division. If these clubs knew that they weren't going to develop, maybe they would join a 'smaller' club and actually play more. Look at players like Rodwell, and Sinclair at Man City, been ruined.

We just really lacked any alternative on Saturday. We have so little on the bench if things aren't working which is a real worry at the moment. Hopefully Ramirez will be fit soon.

Thought we were crying out for a player like him last half hour today.

Problem is - where does he fit in? He's not going to displace Lallana, we need JRod's pace and direct running, and Davis is vital to the way we play. I think he's a cracking player with superb talent, I'm just not sure that he fits in with what we're doing, and has suffered because Lallana has gone up a level this season. I have no doubt that he is an asset to us and he's a good player but it makes it easy for people to moan about him when he isn't a starter as such.

We are a good fit but I don't think that will change his mind if he's asked to go to a bigger club. Especially if the money isn't there in the way it has been the last few years.

I think they've probably got rid of Cortese, and said, give us til the end of the season, we'll all sit down at the end of the season and discuss contracts/transfers etc etc.

Because we don't need to play 3 defensive minded players vs Stoke. Morgan and Cork for me. Wanyama against the bigger sides. Cork is much better at starting attacks and passing IMO.

Would be ridiculous if VW starts over JC
