  1. I hope they play Lampard and Mikel. Not sure how likely that is, but we can dominate the midfield if they do. J-Rod also didn't play Vs Norwich and we looked awful!!
  2. I'm assuming Glasgow had a bet on all these games 12 months ago, as he watches all these teams a lot...
  3. Would be tempted to come down for it if there were away fans there. Not sure I'm fussed if it's just home fans
  4. Let me guess you put a tenner on him going to Genoa....obviously
  5. Football to me is all about the day. Not just the game, hell sometimes even a whole weekend! Seeing mates, going for a few beers, atmosphere, singing your heart out, are all equally as important to me. Which Is why I can never understand why anyone would get on the bingo buses as you only get a small amount of the fun!
  6. Tbf their signings have been shocking. Bottom of L1 to 3rd in prem, SACK THE BOARD !!!!!!
  7. @tancredipalmeri: Southampton's Ramirez will be asked on loan by Genoa, according to Sky Italy @dimarzio: Genoa, sogno Ramirez del Southampton: i dettagli http://t.co/Zdp7EMLXds
  8. They won't lose two on the bounce surely?!
  9. Didn't go as it was midweek and couldn't get out of work, main reason I'm going this year despite it being £50 and on Sky!! I believe the majority of people drink around Earls Court, which is walking distance from the ground, or somewhere else on district line. Cab from Clapham to Earls Court is an option. Found a pub called the blackbird which looks decent.
  10. Yeah, they are woeful!!
  11. Think he'd be a very good signing especially on a free!
  12. This.
  13. Thought the same, but it's another half hour getting to Waterloo and coming back. Trains really are buggered this weekend! Not ideal. Might just have to go to Waterloo and then back to Earls Court on the district line. Just have to leave a bit earlier.
  14. Was planning on drinking around Earls Court, although thinking it maybe easier getting off at Clapham Junction
  15. My choice would be: Boruc; Clyne Fonte Lovren Shaw; Wanyama Morgan; JWP Lallana JRod; Osvaldo. Gazza; Chambers Yoshi; Cork Davis Gaston; Lambert
  16. Just my opinion. Don't think he'd leave midway through the project. Sure Cortese would play hardball, and plus I wouldn't even call those websites sources.
  17. No chance.
  18. Saints legend. He still has bad games though and isn't irreplaceable
  19. Clattenburg does seem completely incapable. Refereeing has been poor by the majority of refs all season though.
  20. There were a few guys to the right of me, who got removed yesterday. 4 or 5 of them. Wasn't sure what it was for, but the Saints fans around them were saying they did nothing wrong. If swearing is not allowed, then it needs to be consistent in all grounds and all stewards do it. I think 99% of the time swearing will go pretty much noticed.
  21. Anyone know of any decent/cheap hotels in Newcastle? Preferably with a car park ?
  22. Villa game won't be easy. Another way of looking at it is, that we'll probably lose to Man City home or Everton away, so might as well miss one of those. Confident that Cork can do a decent enough job in the middle anyway.
  23. That last goal was superb. Touch and turn...marvellous
  24. Lambert was dross yesterday. Offside about 5 times and didn't look like scoring, and touch was unusually poor. I think the he's fine when we're dominating a team (which is a lot), but for me when we go to these big clubs away from home, we should start with Osvaldo up top as he offers us much more in regards to willingness to run the channels and better on the counter IMO.
  25. Personally think Everton are better than Spurs this season but can see where you're coming from.
