  1. Yeah we''ve been scouting around for a decent way of getting there. Cheapest is the megabus but takes ages. Looks like I will be driving up with a mate on Friday afternoon nd coming back Sunday afternoon. Happy to carshare...
  2. I'm upper tier, will be standing. Should be a cracker, hopefully the guy is right and we have taken the full allocation! Doubt it though
  3. Few more added...
  4. That was one of the most boring ones of them.
  5. Yeah - I'm torn. He was class this weekend, and normally is, but can't see us having as much of the ball - so would be tempted to go with Ossie and bring Lambert on ala City away last season.

  7. A top of the table clash awaits and a chance to leapfrog them and go top if Liverpool fail to beat Everton and we win by 2 goals. Hopefully all our boys come through the international break unscathed. Would be tempted to start the same team again, although there is arguement for Osvaldo to start instead of Lambert for this one as we may be playing a bit more on the counter attack than normal. -----------Boruc------------ Clyne--Fonte---Lovren--Shaw -------Vic------Morgan------ JWP------Lallana-------JRod ---------Osvaldo----------- Davis Chambers Gaston Davis Cork Hooiveld Lambert
  8. Erm....have to say either Boruc or Shaw, as our backup is so awful. Lovren would be key but we were relatively tight last season under Pochettino, despite Lovren being a huge upgrade. Lallana on current form would be a huge miss, but we potentially have players who can come in and cover him - despite not being as good. So would have to go with either Boruc or Shaw.
  9. If the league ended up like that there wouldn't be too many complaints - maybe Chelsea and City a bit higher...
  10. I don't feel like it's damage limitation for any games this season like it was last or even pre Cortese. It's odd as I think we're more than capable of getting a result anywhere and maybe even nicking a win! Great times. You're right though. See where we are come NYD, we might well still be up there.
  11. Would be interesting to see who Hodgson starts with. Would be great to have Adam JRod and Rickie all starting vs Chile. Would expect Hodgson may start JRod in Welbecks normal place as he's dropped out, and maybe Adam in the whole. Will probably start with normal dross though. Ruddy; Johnson Cahill Jagielka Baines; Wilshere Gerrard; Townsend Lallana JRod; Lambert
  12. Is a huge few weeks for us. We have some very tough games coming up, if we're still top 6 come NYD, then we've done excellently well. Plus we've played a lot of the bottom teams at home. Real shame we couldn't have beaten both West Ham and Sunderland as we'd be top. Just got to keep taking one game at a time, keep working hard and we'll do ok. Top 8 looks a bottom target for us now though.
  13. No. He was very good last year until he got injured, that injury hurt him and he's now back to his best. Awesome performance today and this season in general. Talent
  14. He is immense. One of my favourite players over the last few years, he's a joy to watch. There is no better player at what he does than him in this league.
  15. Do **** off, it's such a dreadful chant. Cringe

  17. This
  18. I agree with Turkish - may well be a frustrating afternoon. Get an early goal and will be comfortable. COYS
  19. COYS!! Will be very tough but think we'll escape through. 1-0 Lambert.
  20. Yes.
  21. Can't see Lallana ever leaving tbh. He's club captain, he could have left us in L1, and he stayed and brought us back up, been through it all, and now in the England squad. Unless someone comes in with a ridiculous bid - fee and wages - then I can't see him leaving. 1 club man IMO.
  22. This. It's not about what the player is relaistically worth, but more about what we would sell them for.
  23. Bit ofa shame that, I'm one of the fans who doesnt mind Guly and his contribution over the last few years has been absolutely superb.
  24. I like what I've seen of that Aluko, he's impressed me from what I've seen of him...admittably that's only been MOTD!! Would think he'll be a miss for them! Sent from my HTC Desire X using Tapatalk
  25. Reed, Gallagher, Rowe, Turnbull, seem to be the next group coming through. Reed looked good the other night, and the others have all been involved this season. Matt Targett and Ryan Seager haven't been involved yet but highly rated. Sent from my HTC Desire X using Tapatalk
