Agree, It would certainly make English fans stand up and take note though - I can imagine it now though. Good season, maybe a bit inconsistent and shows flashes of brilliance, but also goes missing occasionally. Translates to some as "worst signing in the history of the club, we should have signed Gary Hooper for that much"

TBF, I know him and he can get tickets through someone at the TO - not that it's right!

Why do you love Hooper so much? I think he's a decent player but he's not great from what I have seen, and has only proven himself in the SPL which is a joke league. He might hit the ground running and I think he'll do alright but not sure where the in-fascination comes from tbh.

Would be epic if we were to sign him. €26m is an awful lot of money though!

Don't think he scored 1 own goal. And it's not his fault he's not good enough is it? Bought in the championship and had a great season racking up assists. Not sure why that makes him a villain. Same reason as Sharp, Hammond, Harding, Guly, Richardson, Davis are all villains....odd!

So did DMG!! But yes. Be nice to have a proper striker through the ranks. Clearly very highly rated.
