Lallana Voted 2nd Best Young Player By Premier Managers
Saint Garrett replied to Gemmel's topic in The Saints
Odd thing is if he'd come 10th English player or something id be proud, but you can't help but think it's been voted by morons. Adam is a talented footballer and has played a huge part in our return to the prem, but 2nd best "young" player in the prem?! No chance. -
Saints charged by FA for failing to control players vs Norwich

It's a joke that. Ridiculous decision by the ref in such a massive game, what kind of reaction was he expecting?! And those that said it never happened under Adkins, it definitely did! -

But of respect chaps, they won the World Cup or so I hear -

Comfort Blankets of possession, fixtures and other teams games
Saint Garrett replied to Barry Sanchez's topic in The Saints
That was highlighted on purpose..There wouldn't be many who wouldn't take Gaston, Clyne, Yoshi and J-Rod either. Your opinion seems to state that we should have spent no money on players who are much much better than what we have?! I don't think we could have got much better in the transfer market apart from the odd exceptional bit of business like Michu. Plus, I'd much rather us sign someone who is arguably good enough and going to improve at 21, than someone that is definitely good enough for 1 season but after that they probably won't be. -

But we shouldn't have the EXPECTATION that they will be. It takes time. Maya was woeful at Arsenal, Gaston has been in and out and away generally been awful. Clyne and Boruc are first choice because they have little competition, and J-Rod has improved shed loads under MP. -

I hate the fact some people say the players we have brought in haven't done enough. Some of the players we have got are fantastic. Players like Boruc, Shaw, Cork, Morgan, Punch, would probably get in the majority of teams in the bottom half of the league. Just because other players haven't pushed them out the side doesn't mean they are pointless signings but maybe just give some credit to the ones who have grown with the club. -

Yer but you have to be a clown if you think that the players we bought were instantly going to become our best players. Especially those who have come from abroad. Ok I thought Gaston would have more of an impact but not really surprised he's taking time to adjust. J-Rod has been arguably our best player since MP took over. Yoshida has probably been our best CB this year, and Clyne our first choice RB. Only ones who are questionable really are Mayuka and Forren. -
Link to the architects are here... http://www.infinite3d.co.uk/3d-visualisations/sport/southampton-training-ground.html Seems to be a few others very similar...

Don't think we'd change formation, and don't think we'd play Gaston out wide because he is poor there. Same players but 4231 and swap Punch for Lallana though...

Shame that Reina looks like he'll be fit for it !

Lallana Voted 2nd Best Young Player By Premier Managers
Saint Garrett replied to Gemmel's topic in The Saints
How? And how does he count as 'young'?! -
Empty seats !
-
Looks more like it should be the home of McClaren F1 team!
-
Weather looks nice
-
Do we?! Christ. Personally I think no game of football should be 40 quid or more.
-
Publicity. Although I agree the only thing that will make them change is empty seats, I think fans need to start standing up in anyway possible to these prices. 40 quid for reading is ridiculous. Unfortunately it's too big a game to not go. Or I'd watch it on sky
-
Because 40 quid to go to reading is a joke.
-
Yer believe It when I see it. Good to have plans though. Very impressive design! So how long til the "we'll never fill it" debate....
-
Genuinely think we should do some kind of protest for those prices. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2270885/Liverpool-fans-protest-Arsenal-ticket-prices.html

Good read that as always

Morgan. Or Ramirez

Very interesting, thanks for sharing your story DS. Not sure what Adkins could bring to that team that Lambet wasn't though. Their team is playing pretty much out their skin but just not very good.
