  1. 5-2 Theo
  2. Come back is on....
  3. 5-1 Ben Reeves. Lee has been superb apparently....maybe make the bench Saturday ?
  4. Awful fans, awful club, awful team. bye bye
  5. Podolski 1-0!
  6. Reading look a different side with Pog up front. I don't particularly rate him but will cause problems, and will take a chance given one.
  7. 30 yard screamer from Hoskins apparently.
  8. Theo up top tonight...
  9. Sure they will, being holders, being out the champions league, and not going to win the league...
  10. The championship is great, yes. and I'd rather we were winning pretty much every week and going to away games half expecting to take 3 points, than losing every week. BUT if we're competing in the Premiership and giving a good account of ourselves and winning the odd game then I'd definitely rather be in the Prem. Would you rather be where Reading are - or where Cardiff are at the moment? Reading are barely even competing in this league at the moment and haven't really done all season.
  11. I think they fully intended on using it this season, but haven't yet managed to get it working. Therefore, still stating how many points you'd get (if it was working) just in case they get it up and running come the end of the season. FWIW I don't think it'll sell out but think they'll be a good 2500 there.
  12. I think the loyalty points thing will be kept an eye on, yet not used this season. It may be used at the end of the season when demand is high, but think it will probably come into play as of next season.
  13. No ta.
  14. Although I agree, in principle, I think £20 is about fair. £25 max IMO. However I will pay more as it's the going rate, and I want to go to games and enjoy watching Saints play. In principle, football shouldn't cost as much, because the players shouldn't really earn as much as they do, and shouldn't demand the transfer fees which they do. But until fans start boycotting games because of the prices, the prices will continue to go up as will the players wages and transfer fees.
  15. I'm not sure really, but it's certainly a 'give us so much and we're willing to sell' I reckon £7/8m would get him.
  16. Not convinced that he is the answer, although I can't say I've seen that much of him but... http://www.teamtalk.com/southampton/8338540/Lee-Clark-says-Birmingham-s-Jack-Butland-worth-substantial-figure Sounds like a 'come and make a bid' from Clark.
  17. Depends who we bring in to be fair and whether we stay up. 1 reason why we've not got rid of Sharp/Hammond permamently, is because of the possibility that we might go down IMO. If we bring in 5 players better than what we have in January (not going to happen but...) then we'll probably see quite a few of these moved on. Let's not forget that there has to be someone who wants these players for them to go as they're still in contract. And quite a few of them are probably on a pretty hefty wage compared to their ability...
  18. Just out of interest...what causes ulcers? They are a massive pain in the arse and I get them on a regular. My mum always used to say it was due to drinking too much...
  19. Unfortunately I can't make this one, which is very annoying as Villa was one I was planning to go to as I've never been to Villa Park. Hopefully they'll be next year...
  20. Would he add something to the squad....definitely, would I want him here...definitely not. I like our low key, low wage approach, rather than bringing in high profile 'failures' who the media are ready to slate, think we'd be better off bringing in someone who is in good form but not as good, than someone who will cost a lot and not played well for 3 years.
  21. This.
  22. No. Think he'll go back to Middlesbrough on loan in January.
  23. Hmmm...I'll take this with a pinch of salt if you don't mind. I just cannot believe we would be willing to sell probably the most important player we have for barely any money whatsoever!?
  24. Think we'll beat Sunderland. Fulham will be close, could go either way, but imagine we'll have quite a few fans up there and decent opportunity to cause them problems. Stoke, I can't see us getting anything out of that. Arsenal.....completely depends what Arsenal side turns up. If it's the Arsenal that we played then I think they'll beat us, if it's the Arsenal who played at Bradford and has been playing recently I think its a really good opportunity to beat them. Villa. Same as Fulham I think. Opportunity to get a win as they're pretty poor, but on a bit of a high at the moment after the last few weeks but that might all change by the time we play them. 5 or 6 points I reckon.
