Liked him as a player and has certainly played a part in getting us up the divisions. Remember when he came on at Oldham, he was absolutely superb, and had some brilliant link up play with Lambert/Lallana/Guly at the start of last season when we were steamrolling teams. I think TCM has summed it up however. If money is tight, then why would clubs risk paying him money when the liklihood is he'll be injured for atleast half the season. Would be a good acquisition for someone like Bournemouth.

Ergh god. Why would Lee get a go in front of any of Guly, J-Rod, Mayuka, Reeves, Davis, JWP. He has barely played since Jan/Feb, he only played for about 2 months before and scored what...1 goal?! I'm not writing him off, but if he's not getting in the first team squad, why would we suddenly throw him into start a game we need to hit the ground running? Also probably wouldn't have the understanding with the rest of the squad as he's not played.

Don't think that would be a surprise to be fair, Rhys Williams is quality. If he didn't have so many injury problems he'd be a constant in a lot of prem teams.

I can certainly see a case for Guly to start, but personally think it will be same team as finished Reading. TDD, you seem to have got well on this bandwagon that Guly is the worst player to ever have had a contract and he kills children. Give him a break FFS he's done a decent job every time he's played this season.

I said to Simon Peach on twitter that he's probably out a month or 2 so can hardly expect the club to confirm it and give the oppo the heads up. He replied with saying...I'm wrong and it will be a lot sooner than that.

It's not up to Saints whether he was an agent though is it, it's up to the player. Would be very surprised if he doesn't have one.
