This. He took a few weeks to adjust this season, but no surprise as he's never looked particularly happy next to Jos and Yoshi was learning. He played OK Vs Arsenal and has been brilliant the last few months. You can also see how much it means to him, definate captain material while Adam's out.

Can't see anything in this to be honest, we got J-Rod instead who's done OK since he's joined and has a big future.

Awesome player and absolutely vital for us.

What happened up in the top of Block 1/away fans yesterday? Saw someone getting dragged out just after we scored !? Also as much as I love sitting in 37, there always seems to be a point in the game where the top of that block seems to want to go through the whole book of anti pompey songs....all noise is good noise, and I don't mind the odd anti-pompey song, but I'd prefer more pro-saints songs!

Ha, well swap Newcastle and Norwich round and pretty much spot on !
-
Kingsland Northam corner is definitely better now, would probably say it's louder than the Northam.

Cheers

There was a few times where he dropped off a bit yesterday, and pretty much every time found his man. His technical ability is superb.

Not dicking about with the ball as much as well. If we need to get rid, the ball goes up to Rickie. But agree that Shaw, Cork and Gaston have had a good impact. Add to that the fixture list and I think thats fair.

**** refs, we always get **** refs !
-
If it had been Lallana it would have been a 'great save'. Because it's Guly, he's useless and **** and it was 'missed'. Bull****, It was a decent effort - yes ok probably should have scored, but he didn't the keeper made a decent save. Get over it.
-
Lets hope he's not had his head turned by agents by then. Important we stay up as well IMO.
-
When does he turn 18 then ?! Get that signed !!!!
-
What I have noticed about him is that he very rarely lets the wide player get the ball into the box. It's just basics. STOP THE CROSS. Was superb today, be lucky to have him here at the start of next season IMO.

Few posts on their match reaction thread....

They were deathly silent. Piped up a bit at the start, but throughout they were awful and a lot were sat down. They're just a nothing club, who have no real history and are extremely poor on the pitch. Like others have said it's boot it to Roberts in the hope he'll be able to make something of it and set Le Fondre free. Shaw did fantastically well today as did Yoshi and Fonte. Clyne didn't have an awful lot to do defensively I thought. Good to see we have found a bit of sterness defensively in the last few weeks, thats only 2 goals conceded in 4 games now.

Shaw or Fonte for me. Will go with Fonte as thought he was superb!

Wouldn't be surprised if its a couple of months but fingers crossed its just a little tweak!

It's become fashionable for people to slate Guly it seems. He's never been an incredible player, but he never wanders around and doesn't try. He always tries and he's an erratic player. When Guly had that chance which drew a good save from the keeper, the two guys sat next to me in the Kingsland/Northam corner were shouting stuff like '**** of Guly you useless piece of ****' absolutely no need thought be did well when he came on, and also think he's done pretty well in all the games where he has come on this season. He's really not that bad at all and is a decent alternative to our other players.
