Hard to say, I rate Rodriguez I think he will be a very good buy for us, and hopefully Rickie can teach him a thing or two this season. Mayuka has looked lively when he has come on but not seen much of him to compare with anyone else. Would he be a better option that Kone? Quite possibly but who is to say. I also rate Yoshi, I think he reads the game extremely well and is still young and will improve. Is Bassong much better or do Norwich just play a lot tighter as a unit than us ? Yes probably as they've not scored very many goals.

Look at Gaston, he could have joined a top team, but didn't think he would play. He knows he's young and learning and he's much better playing week in week out for us than 10 minutes off the bench for a top side. If these young players are good enough, then they will get their move to the big stage.

A more equal comparison would be players other teams have brought in who have also been on the bench. It's easy to say you'd rather have a player who has played in very game and settled than a player who hs hardly had a chance...

Well in hindsight I'd have brought in Van Persie as quality backup....

If Michu was to play for us it would be in the NO10 position...but we have a better option there so he wouldn't get in the side.

Just think our wide players have become a bit more aware of their job and have clearly been concentrating on the defensive side of their game. Dell Days was banging on about the fact we needed 3 proper CM's in there rather than Gaston. Proved wrong...

Watching the Villa Reading game on Sky, they're both atrocious. Unable to keep possession. Both wouldn't look out of place in the Championship, we've got far more technical ability in our side.
