  1. Everyone made changes for this crap cup. Just the fact is that their second strings are better than ours. SHOCK. Also, the club say they want 50% of the team to come through the academy....how is this ever going to happen if the few chances that we have of blooding a few youngsters is stopped.
  2. A straight answer would have helped more. I CBA to read through all that.
  3. Morgan won't play further forward, do you watch him play? He's a deep lying playmaker, he sits in front of the defense. Him and Davis offer us a lot passing the ball and interceptions, but although Morgan has improved massively in this department, neither are going to put big tackles in. I wouldn't be surpised to see: ------------Morgan -------Davis-----Cork --Ramirez------------Lallana ----------Rodriguez---------
  4. The only tactics that Dave knows are 4-4-2, keeping 2 solid lines, and getting the ball wide and to the byline. Times have changed and football has moved on. If we played 4-4-2 we would be far worse than we currently are. Shown by the first half vs Spurs and the Wigan game.
  5. Yoshi actually reads the game very well and is a good defender. Davis is one of those players who fans don't appreciate what he brings to the side. Once we have a consistent side I think we'll be ok. Boruc Clyne Fonte Yoshi Fox Davis Morgan Punch Lallana J-Rod Lambert Maybe put in Mayuka for Punch but think Mayuka offers more from the bench. Also possibly JWP in for J-Rod and start them 3 in the middle with Lallana wide. Although I think J-Rod offers more defensively than Lallana.
  6. If he was going to have a chance to play on Monday, he would have atleast played an hour last night. Asking for trouble putting in a player who hasn't played a full competitive game since last season.
  7. And...? I'd rather we had a go and tried to play good football than going everywhere trying to nick a draw and failing anyway. I've never really had a problem with your posts on this forum, but the last few weeks every single thread which I seem to click on it's full of your negativity. Maybe if you had a bit of belief and got behind the team, maybe you may be able to see some positives in what we're doing. Or maybe you're just a half empty kind of guy.
  8. If I had your attitude towards my club, I would go get another interest. Seriously. Would you rather we went and lost 2-0 and sat back like we did last night, or would you rather we went and use our strength which is attacking, and maybe nicking a result but also maybe getting beat 3-2 or soemthing. I know what I'd rather as someone who goes to games...
  9. F*ck it. We might as well go up and play a 5-5 formation of we may as well not bother. blah blah have some faith for f*ck sake. Christ.
  10. They clearly had their ideas about how it was going to be done at the start of the season, but the points part has clearly not been implemented yet. Bit of a joke but it's a work in progress thing. Be interesting to see what happens in the high demand games at the end of the season. I can't imagine they'll say, 'You have to have got to 8 of Man City, Stoke, Man Utd, Spurs, Wigan, West Ham, Swansea, Fulham, Arsenal, Norwich etc.
  11. Still undecided whether to drive up on Monday after work...anyone know if you'll be able to buy them on the door ?

  13. Ask me again at the end of the transfer window.
  14. Ah Flyer is back giving it the biggen now we've lost a few. QPR are ****, we're awful defensively, I'd say there isn't much in it apart from our wage bill is probably a third of yours.
  15. Cant imagine he'd fit the Barcelona model of playing good football on the floor with flair players and bringing through the youth. If the chairman is committed to this, whether we stay up or not, then I don't think he'll bring him in. I think it's more likely to be a european manager.
  16. How the hell have you not been banned yet ?! Christ.
  17. To be fair I turned over from 5LIVE to SaintsPlayer because the Leeds love in was annoying me. However I'm certain those which they have mentioned haven't been good enough.
  18. Dan Seaborne is utter ****
  19. Come on, Seaborne is absolutely dreadful, he was a bottom half L1 defender before his injury FFS. Butterfield has barely played for a year and a half.
  20. Like I said, how many starts have they got between them? Yes they're players who want to be in the first team, but that also means theyre going to be rusty. The one with the most starts is probably JWP who is a great prospect, but one of those players who will look better amongst better players. Not sure why people are getting so wound up about this result. I fully expect to lose tonight. As long as we don't get any suspensions or injuries I won't be bothered, whereas when we lose a league game it ruins my whole weekend.
  21. It is the reserves though isn't it. How many starts have this lot between them this seasob so far? Can't imagine it's many. Hardly a stupid system either is it. 442 doesnt work, what would you rather we played? 5 in midield? 5 at the back ?
  22. Anyone who wants Adkins out because our reserves are losing to a very competitive Leeds side need their heads seeing to. Why are you surprised?
  23. TDD give it a rest.
  24. 1-0 leeds
  25. Likely to be lots of interchanging tonight between the front 4 seeing as though Lee, Mayuka and Guly can all play wide, in up top. It would be nice to get into the hat for the next round anyway!
