We're going to need more than 9 men...
-
Why? What has Rickie done in the last month to warrant a start over J-Rod?
-
They're used to watching Leeds. It's in their blood to appreciate players who run around a lot, leave a foot in regularly and play for the shirt despite having huge limitations with the ball at their feet.
-
J-Rod has got 10 in 20 for me, with Lambert on 3, and Lallana on 6. Gaston has got 0!!
-
Pretty much described West Ham's tactics.
-
No Chaplow's running is just headless chicken running. There is no point having him in there despite the purple patch he had for us this time last year. We need to be able to retain posession in this league, and Chaplow just wouldn't do that.
-
I do think we only need a good Left Back and a more experienced solid CB. Possibly a RW, but think we should have enough in attacking positions to last through this season.
-
We need to be out of the bottom 3 with a bit of room to spare by January. Look at our fixtures !! January 1: Arsenal (H) January 12: Aston Villa (A) January 19: Everton (H) January 29: Manchester United(A) February 2: Wigan (A) February 9 Manchester City: (H) February 23 Newcastle (A)

Morgan was the one player who needed a rest. If he had played and got injured there would have been uproar on here.
-
Yes there is plenty more.
-
I just feel that he gets a hard time of it. He is no worse than anyone else and has actually done a good job this season. I'd rather have him RM than Puncheon...
-
Does everything need to be judged on goals scored ?! If that was the case then David Mcgoldrick would have been decent.
-
How much has he been on the pitch? How much closing down does he do when he's playing? How much shadowing and defensive work has he put in? How many passes has he made - I'd say he must have a very high % completion rate. From the games I've seen (and I've only missed both Manchester games) he's done pretty well. Feel sorry for the bloke. He did a very good job at West Ham.

Charlie Dimmock?!?! Craig David?!?!? WTF
-
It's embarrassing how some of our players are treated by the fans. Guly has been a good servant to this club and a major part in us getting double promotions. Ok he may not be good enough for a starting place in the prem week in week out, but he's really not as bad as some make him out to be. Plus we don't have many other players like him who can make something happen.
-
Odd seeing as though he's actually been pretty good everytime he's played this season.
-
Everyone made changes for this crap cup. Just the fact is that their second strings are better than ours. SHOCK. Also, the club say they want 50% of the team to come through the academy....how is this ever going to happen if the few chances that we have of blooding a few youngsters is stopped.
-
A straight answer would have helped more. I CBA to read through all that.
-
Morgan won't play further forward, do you watch him play? He's a deep lying playmaker, he sits in front of the defense. Him and Davis offer us a lot passing the ball and interceptions, but although Morgan has improved massively in this department, neither are going to put big tackles in. I wouldn't be surpised to see: ------------Morgan -------Davis-----Cork --Ramirez------------Lallana ----------Rodriguez---------
-
The only tactics that Dave knows are 4-4-2, keeping 2 solid lines, and getting the ball wide and to the byline. Times have changed and football has moved on. If we played 4-4-2 we would be far worse than we currently are. Shown by the first half vs Spurs and the Wigan game.
-
Yoshi actually reads the game very well and is a good defender. Davis is one of those players who fans don't appreciate what he brings to the side. Once we have a consistent side I think we'll be ok. Boruc Clyne Fonte Yoshi Fox Davis Morgan Punch Lallana J-Rod Lambert Maybe put in Mayuka for Punch but think Mayuka offers more from the bench. Also possibly JWP in for J-Rod and start them 3 in the middle with Lallana wide. Although I think J-Rod offers more defensively than Lallana.
-
If he was going to have a chance to play on Monday, he would have atleast played an hour last night. Asking for trouble putting in a player who hasn't played a full competitive game since last season.
-
And...? I'd rather we had a go and tried to play good football than going everywhere trying to nick a draw and failing anyway. I've never really had a problem with your posts on this forum, but the last few weeks every single thread which I seem to click on it's full of your negativity. Maybe if you had a bit of belief and got behind the team, maybe you may be able to see some positives in what we're doing. Or maybe you're just a half empty kind of guy.
-
If I had your attitude towards my club, I would go get another interest. Seriously. Would you rather we went and lost 2-0 and sat back like we did last night, or would you rather we went and use our strength which is attacking, and maybe nicking a result but also maybe getting beat 3-2 or soemthing. I know what I'd rather as someone who goes to games...

F*ck it. We might as well go up and play a 5-5 formation of we may as well not bother. blah blah have some faith for f*ck sake. Christ.
