I just feel J-Rod was bought by Adkins and Mayuka and Ramirez were Cortese signings. Nothing wrong with that but it has left us with too many forwards. Is J-Rod any better than Sharp?

Another thing is whose signings were they? I'm sure that Adkins had his list and I would have thought J-Rod was top of that along with Clyne. Then it seems Cortese wanted a 'sexy' signing so went big on Ramirez, but also Mayuka by the sounds of it was sorted by the chairman without any agents etc. Is this why we suddenly are a bit 'top heavy' in our options?

I don't think it was, given the fact he'd agreed to come 10 days before the window closed. There is no doubt we were after atleast 1 more defender, possibly two. It's time for Fonte and Fox to step up in the next few weeks - lets hope they improve with the 2 weeks out.

There is no reason why we couldn't have got GR and also strengthened the defence. It sounded like Adkins was expecting a busier last evening on deadline day, going by his interview during the day, therefore get the impression that we failed with a few defensive targets.

Lets hope it's down because they need to make some big improvements to it! Very frustrating yesterday seeing empty seats.

He would have given us a bit of bite towards the end when the midfield was tiring.

Played Weybrook and Test Valley recently. Both nice courses however I think Weybrook is a bit more interesting. Test Valley is very open, quite nice, but kind of feels like it is half finished. Weybrook was really nice with some more interesting greens than I am used to. Also got my best score despite playing in the worst weather I have played in so far. Few decent holes over water as well which always adds a bit. Going to play dummer next weekend I think which my friends played on today, and they said it was really nice.s

I have just watched his interview on Saintsplayer, I absolutely love him, you can just sense how happy he is to be here.
