I personally, cannot see Rhodes leaving Huddersfield until atleast the summer. If he wanted to leave, I think he would have been off by now. More likely is he'll wait til the summer, get Huddersfield promoted, then re-assess in the summer when he knows which club will be where.

Yer, but if we did bid for Maynard, Sharp, Rodriguez & Sordell in the summer then there must be money available and the intent is there for a decent striker. Also from Lennons comments it does sound like we put in a bid for Hooper and they are trying to drive the price up, but I think if we want him enough we'll get him.

If people are saying though, that the Chamberlain money is paying for the players we bought in the summer + Lee + Hooiveld, then surely there must be some more money in the kitty. I very much doubt we were going into this season with a transfer budget of £0 and I very much doubt Cork, Fox, De Ridder, Lee, Hooiveld between them cost £12-£15m? Cork - £750k? De Ridder £500k? Fox £1.8m Hooiveld £1.2m? Lee £500k?

Can you imagine the Spuds kids going over there and seeing that, better they were ****ting it!

Had a great time there a few years ago the day we went down. After all the mess that had preceded it for a few years and all the ifs, whys & hows, we were finally free just to go and enjoy a game, didn't stop singing all game, joined in with the Forest fans as well. They all turned to us and applauded us all at the end as well.

To be fair they have signed one CB, and look like they'll sign this other Japanese bloke if they can get a work permit for him.

Well, noone is saying they will let us have him for 6m...just a guess from someone on here I think as to how much roughly he would cost.

I don't think anyone said it was total profit, It is never going to be. But it's still a hell of a lot of money, and I'm pretty sure this doesnt include price increases/merchandise/matchday income/hospitality etc etc...Regardless of how much it is worth, its still a hell of a lot of money, and going back to the original post (me), I think the 6m gamble for Hooper would be worth it.

NA's interview....I wouldn't be surprised to see Chappers & De Ridder involved, whether thats on the bench or not. Is NA just being coy? Maybe Guly/Richardson/Chaplow/De Ridder/Connolly will all be fit..who knows?

Yes but do you not think compared to a lot of NPC clubs our current player contracts are relatively small ?
